Touche', Dove. Touche'. If the Broncos couldn't put away the 49-ers, they don't deserve the play-offs. Oh well, "next year."* CENSORED!!* Well bill, its gonna be a long offseason for our Broncos!! God what a tense game that was.. Gotta give credit to Alex Smith and the 49ers, they are a team that is on the rise.. for once they will NOT have the first pick in the NFL draft!! lol.. Oh well, time to start rooting for my second favorite team..the New England Patriots, otherwise I'm in full Denver Nuggets mode now!!

Your Chargers are bound for glory. This has GOT to be their year!14-2! The best record in the the NFL! ...yes, I'm worried.
Poor Raiders, 2-14 (ROTFLMAO)
AFC West: The Best and the Worst of the entire NFL for 2006.

Which leaves the Patriots,Jets,Colts,Chiefs,Eagles,Cowboys,Giants, and the Seahawks
playing in the first round. Does anybody know the first week matchups yet? The NFC East has three teams in the playoffs and none of those 3 will go deep into the playoffs.

I knew after that opening MNF game that I was watching the best and worst teams in football. The Raiders are so lucky that Detroit didn't loose. Now they get to redeem themselves for foolishly passing on Matt Lienart in the draft(Detroit also blew it but will have to take another player). Brady Quinn better wear a mouthpiece and a flap jacket.

Just wanted to say congrats to hcmv007 for his victory in the CBn Pick'em League and thanks to everyone involved. It came down to the final week, but he stood his ground and beat me by 2-3 picks. I look forward to a rematch next year....and hopefully more members will get involved! Once again, congrats!
Many thanks, Richmond Spy! It was an honor to be in the Leaugue, and to compete against fine people! Heck, I thought you might top me this week, as I let my little brother help me pick. Condolences to the family and friends of Derrant Williams, such a tragedy!

Hey guys, the Cardinals just fired Dennis Green. That was quick! Knew that was coming. Whoever gets that team is going to get a team with some potential.
Wow. AZ played SD tough. They did a great job protecting Warner by only allowing one sack.I thought AZ was a playoff team at the start of the season.I think Pete Carrol should take this gig. Leinart is gonna be a great one and he has some great targets.

I hear Pete Carroll probably wouldn't want the job. But Norman Chow(who as you know also knows Leinhart) may be a candidate along with Jim Fassel who used to be the offensive coordinator a while back for the Cardinals.

Hey Dove, sorry about the SF game/playoffs, and for Darrant Williams. He was a a good player.
I have a friend who's a big KC fan and he was blown away to find out his team is in the playoffs...KC will run all over Indy...

I'm also glad that for once Denver won't have to worry about getting our kicked out of the playoffs by the Colts.. Now its Kansas City's turn.. I think Larry Johnson is just the guy to give Indy a tough fight!!

I can't say that I'm all that excited about the NFC match-ups in the first round this year, but the two AFC games are going to be great (although this opinion is biased as I'm a Jets fan). If I remember correctly, historically, the road teams have fared fairly well in the opening round in recent years, so I'm hoping that trend continues this year with the Jets.

Kansas City over Indianapolis: I think that Larry Johnson is going to have a fantastic day against a struggling Colts defense, and the Chiefs will win a fairly high-scoring affair.
Seattle over Dallas: I'm picking Seattle simply by default as neither one of these teams are particularly good and neither one has much of a chance against the likes of New Orleans or Chicago. Seattle's at home, and actually did win their Week 17 game, which puts them in slightly better position than the Cowboys, who just lost three games in a row at home to close out the season, the last of which to the team that would have had the #1 overall pick in the draft had they lost.
New York over New England: Yes, I'm biased in this pick, but I think that Mangini has some great magic going on with this team, and the magic the Patriots have had going on for the last half of a decade is bound to come to an end sometime. Why not this season. I think that Leon Washington is the wildcard going into this game. If he can make 1 or 2 big plays, the Jets win. If not, it's the Patriots that will be moving on. But, either way, I think that this will be the most entertaining matchup of the weekend.
Philadelphia over New York: Philadelphia will beat a struggling Giants team with ease. This one's the most lopsided of the Wildcard matchups.

NY Jets or NE Patriots?
NY Giants of Philadelphia?
Chiefs(I live in Indiana and i still hate the Colts)
Cowboys
Jets(i'm NJ born so i'm going for the Jets)
Eagles(Again i'm NJ born but the Giants stink)
But in the end Go Chargers!
