Dracula - the Legacy collection
Frankenstein - the legacy collection
I love Son of Dracula with Lon Chaney Jr for its wonderful gothic southern bayou setting.
Are you a Hammer Horror fan as well?
I ordered the Universal Hammer Horror collection - 8 films for $20!!! Eagerly waiting for it.

Sahara - and it's really grown on me. Kinda fills the "Bond void". While I know the true Dirk Pitt afficianados around here are mixed, it's quite a blast and even the score has little John Barry brass and trumpets riff.
If you haven't yet, check it out.
Same here!

Gotten:
Collector ed. of The wolfman/Werewolf of London (Universal '30 's horrormovies) & The invisible man / The phantom of the Opera with Claude Rains.
The missus knows what to give me.
I always laugh at the bit in "Werewolf of London" when the werewolf puts on his hat and coat before leaving the house.

Totally forgot about Batman Begins on DVD in October. Seems there is going to be alot of great movies coming out on DVD very soon: The Interpreter, Batman Begins, Star Wars III...
The next month or so will definitely be a great month for movie releases on DVD. Can't wait for Batman, I haven't seen Star Wars yet so I'm looking forward to that, and I really liked The Interpreter, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing that again.

Though I did get a Region 4 DVD of the Lesley-Anne Down/John Rhys Davies "Sphinx" (1981) since the movie is not available on DVD in Region 1 right now.

If the latter, for shame.
Oh, come now - we must STICK IT TO THE MAN!
That said, uh, Remington Steele: Season 1. If that counts. It is, yknow, multiple discs and stuff.

Simply the best film ever made. Period.
Of Shawshank-Redemption-word-of-mouth greatness.
But more human
Terrific music.
See it, see it before you die.

Buying DVDs? What a quaint idea...I prefer having the studio send them directly.
Though I did get a Region 4 DVD of the Lesley-Anne Down/John Rhys Davies "Sphinx" (1981) since the movie is not available on DVD in Region 1 right now.
I'm no longer a memeber of the club. I had to buy Sahara.
