I just bought the first season of Peter Gunn with Craig Stevens. Very cool.I thought I'd start this Topic as I havn't seen one one the forums. Simply post the DVD's you've bought today or your latest purchase. Today I bought Peter Gunn (1989) Starring Peter Strauss. It's the 1989 TV movie of the 1958 T.V series (of the same name) Starring Craig Stevens. If I'm correct the Theme Tune for the T.V series (written by Henri Mancini) is heard in the "Spy Hunter" computer games, and the "Blues Brothers" movies, though I'm not sure if it did feature in the "Blues Brothers" movies.
I wouldn'tmind seeing the Strauss version again since I've not seen it since it aired in 89.

I was really let down by this mini-series. What a tame, little climax! :
Steven Spielberg Presents Taken. Currently up to the third episode and enjoying it!
It actually starts airing here on TV tomorrow night; worth watching for a terrific opening shot that zooms through space before dropping us into the middle of a aerial dogfight over Germany in the 1940s.

Also got a 3-DVD set for $17.99 of Frank Sinatra films, Tony Rome, Lady In Cement and The Detective. The first two films take place in 1967-68 Miami and were filmed there, too. Fun, not quite as campy as Dean Martin's "Matt Helm" movies, but it's nice to see my hometown in it's 1960s heyday. The Detective is a gritty 1968 crime drama. Frank co-stars with Robert Duval, Lee Remick and...Jack Klugman!

I doubt that.
I'm not too fond of it - and I swear it's not because I prefer looking at Pierce.
Really, I swear!

Oops! Sor-wee.Ooh, don't spoil it!
I'm watching this and enjoying it at the moment!
That's okay.

Edit: Incidentally, my 2000th post. [bored]Yay.[/bored]

Before that, Buffy Season 5 and Hellboy, and I was given the complete Firefly collection.
Oh, I forgot. Either just before or just after The American President, my son did a wonderful thing and I bought him his (our) favorite comedies: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Young Frankenstein.
