In CR, I see Barry Pepper as James Bond. Yes, he has a prosthetic leg.

I say, he and Bond are in a fight with some baddies. Leiter's prosthetic leg comes off, and he uses it to beat the s*** out of a bad guy.

I definitely want to see Felix in this film, and if it is an "early mission", I definitely want to see him uninjured. I like Josh Lucas for the role. Anyone who saw Hulk can imagine it very easily, I think.

I absolutely want Felix to return. In an ideal world, I'd cast Matthew Mcconaughey, who strongly resembles the Felix of the novels. However, because such a big actor might overshadow Bond, they should probably find some little-known straw-haired Texan.

If we are seeing a younger Bond in CR, then a younger Felix is logical, Ryan Reynolds is my choice. If we see an older Bond (35-40), then an older Felix, someone like Matthew McConaughy.

Yes, very good choice. Matches Fleming's description as well. Done.

Yes a good choice, but Lucas is already at leading man status, with Stealth and the upcoming Glory Road and Poseidon adventure remake. Not sure he's going to want to play a fourth or fifth billed role in someone else's franchise at this point in his career. I still prefer my choice of (ex) Alias star Michael Vartan

I can see it. Felix doesn't have to be played dead seriously, and Masterson doesn't have to play Felix funny necessarily. He comes off a little young, I'd like any Leiter character to be about five years older than a 28-ish Bond.

I think the perfect choice for Felix would be Tom Hanks, but there is no way that a big star like him will take a small role like the role of Felix. So, my top pick who would take a role like that of Felix has to be William H. Macy.

Gary Sinise would be a good, safe choice, but I'd like Felix to be about the same age as Bond. I like Josh Lucas. Vartan also looks the part, but I've never seen him act.

Yeah, I find that most people disagree on that one. But seriously, I CAN see why there are a lot of people who wouldn't like him as Bond. I really can, but I see him as being a continuation of what Timothy Dalton was doing as Bond, which is why I think that he would be good.

But, you're right, I've also noticed that we agree on a lot of things.

Don't get me wrong, Dalton is my favorite Bond. But no matter how much Craig can act the part like Dalton, I refuse to accept his looks/body frame as Bond Material. I believe Owen is the better choice to follow in Dalton's footsteps. But back to Felix, Mike Varton would be a great choice as well. Has anyone out there heard of an actor named Gabriel Macht? He played Frank James in American Outlaws with Colin Farrel. He may be too physically big but a solid choice nonetheless.
