For crying out loud, someone give the man a hint.I imagine prequels of the prequels will occur afterwards, then sequels to the apparent sequel trilogy.
It's a vicious cycle.

Interesting with the first mention in there.Just some very slight spoilers I found from watching the latest Webdoc on SW.com, nothing at all that can ruin anything, just avoiding angry posts

Padme' is definitely pregnant
Mon Mothma is in ROTS, as well as Admiral Ackbar.
Nothing really exciting at all about the second bit IMO.

Apparently a live action (can you really consider them live action anymore?) TV series is being planned for 2006.

There are rumours of a live action tv show, and also rumours about an NDA about Episodes 7,8, and 9.
Perhaps that TV show will chronicle the events that would occur in Ep.'s 7,8, and 9.
So technically, Lucasfilms would not be lying by saying, "7 8 and 9 will never appear in theatres", since it would be on TV
Anyone else think this might be the case? Or am I just totally crazy?

However, as their just rumors, who knows what exactly could be the case with them yet. As, we just do not know enough yet.

I watched it and I like it. It's not as good as the original three but it is still good. Now I just need to see the first one so that I'm ready for Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.Fair movie, don't expect a total classic IMO.I bought a used DVD copy of Episode II: Attack of the Clones for $5.00 yesterday night. I will watch it for the first time tonight.

Quite, on the whole though, you're ready if you've seen the second. A bit odd if I may say you watching Episode II and then Episode I.I watched it and I like it. The reason I did that was because I found a used Widescreen DVD version of Episode II in good condition for $5.00.Quite, on the whole though, you're ready if you've seen the second. A bit odd if I may say you watching Episode II and then Episode I.

There's a sequel trilogy by Timothy Zahn, called the Thrawn trilogy, which are pretty good.

That series, the Heir to the Empire series, is widely credited with the revitalization of the STAR WARS franchise.I have novelisations of the original movie trilogy, they're pretty good.
There's a sequel trilogy by Timothy Zahn, called the Thrawn trilogy, which are pretty good.
Prior, to the first book's release in '90, Star Wars fandom was almost considered dead. With the success of ALIENS, TERMINATOR and the TREK juggernaut, everyone seemed to write off the STAR WARS saga. Lucas had stated that their would be more movies (ultimately a 9 film series) but none were forthcoming. Marvel Comics' STAR WARS series ended around '87 or '88 and only the die-hards were watching reruns of DROIDS and EWOKS.
If you've the time, read the Zahn trilogy. Those books are long and detailed(I consider Zahn to be the Tom Clancy of Star Wars novels) but you are sucked in to a universe that is beyond intriguing. Dark Horse Comics adapted all three novels a few years ago- you should be able to get those as bound graphic novels.
