Some actors I think would be good Bond villains are Steve Buscemi, Kelsey Grammer, Christopher Lloyd, Elias Koteas, Vincent D'Onofrio, John Stamos, and Topher Grace.  Some are more likely than others, but all are good actors.

You are joking, right? Topher Grace couldn't menace the Rugrats. Kelsey Grammar has a cool voice. John Stamos has pretty hair and can play the drums. The only way they should be part of a Bond movie is if they pay for a ticket first.

Of course I'm joking, I put the red herrings in on purpose just to see if anyone went for them.

In fairness, there is one type of role Topher Grace could play:

Villians of Bond 21 should be

Blofeld (as head villian) played by Patrick Stewart or Donald Sutherland
Max Zorin (as side-villian) played by Christopher Walken
Henchman played by Gary Busey
Henchman/Mad Scientist played by Kenneth Branagh

and we already have
Henchman played by Gunnar Sch

Good point on Koskov. Why not have him return and be behind a new Smiert Spionam directive? Of course, he'd be working for someone else again, maybe the person behind it could be a mystery til Bond 22.

He could return I guess. If they were looking on highlighting his return from the past of Bond, it might be a little more difficult, as he is one of the lesser known Bond characters I'd say.

Paul Bettany though is a good actor.

The best dudes to be Bond villians would be Jon Voight or Nick Nolte. Both would bore Bond by talking talking talking.... Like Nick did to us in Hulk.
Voight could have an anaconda which he sets on Bond. And he could persuade Angelina to be the Bond babe.

Paul Bettany would be good, but I don't want any big names like Voight or Nolte.

For Bond 21 (which I'm hoping to be Casino Royale), I'd like le Chiffre to be played by Jean-Pierre Bacri or Jean Reno.

VINCENT CASSELS

This guy French, eh? Definelty good opposition for Bond. You may have seen this chap in Ocean's Twelve, as the ahhh French Guy. He has a good physical durability and decent acting. Great french accent. Also I would like to share the thought of mine when watching this guy I was considering him as a Bond candidate (must have been the flourine in my water). Anyways here some pics which can viewed.

I was watching the Die Hard trilogy last week and I thought either Alan Rickman or Jeremy Irons (Hans and Simon Gruber respectively) would be a great Bond villain for Bond 21.

Now if Oded Fehr were to be a Bond villain, I'd have major girlie spasms while watching Bond and Oded interact. :)

I've been away too long.

Anyway, now that "Casino Royale" has been announced, the villain is presumably Le Chiffre. Reading the book, the only actor I envisioned who fit the physical description was 50-year-old Irish actor Brendan Gleeson, a friend of Brosnan's if I'm not mistaken, seen previously in "The Tailor of Panama", "A.I." (as Lord Johnson-Johnson who ran the Flesh Fair), "Gangs of New York", and "Cold Mountain" (great as Renee Zellweger's reformed father).

Before reading the book, I kept thinking that they could make one last stab at getting Anthony Hopkins to play the villain, offering him THE original Bond villain. After "Bad Company", it's hard to imagine him turning it down.

Yes! Brendan Gleeson! Of course! Not to mention, he was Frank in 28 Days Later. Great actor.

If I had to cast Le Chiffre, I would pick the French actor Daniel Auteuil. He seems like he could play a good psychotic villain.
