I've seen the trailer of Collateral and Tom Cruise is a threatening villian in that one. He's even silver haired! That's funny.I will be crucificated by saying this maybe but I think Tom Cruise could be a capable Bond villain. More of an Psycotic type villain.
Who Should Play Le Chiffre?

He does have a certain flair for the villainous side, but not in a Bond film, IMO.I've seen the trailer of Collateral and Tom Cruise is a threatening villian in that one. He's even silver haired! Ya, he passed away on June 11, 1999. I remember hearing about it then. Quite a sad day for Star Trek TOS fans. But ya, I think he would have made a good villain.oh sorry, DeForest is dead

I also like the idea of an older woman. There could be some interesting interchange between her and Bond.
I'd love to play a henchman myself.

I'd enjoy seeing Mark Valley play a villain. He worked with Colin Salmon on Keen Eddie, so there's a little connection. He could pull off a dangerous American-type baddie that would definitely shake up the franchise for the better.

Will people please stop saying Hopkins! It will NEVER happen! God!You could have Anthony Hopkins play the old, senile type villain, who has more henchmen than he needs.

No actor needs to be in a James Bond movie though. Just because he is famed and a great actor doesn't mean he couldn't be in a James Bond film.Because he is all ready a big actor. He doesn't need to do a James Bond movie.

How about Andy Garcia? He was pretty good in Ocean's 11.
Andy Garcia , seems to be a valid choice for a villain...

I agree with Qwerty here. Why not Hannibal Lector? He's my first choice to be a villian, and with a good script offered to him (doubtful), I think he'll sign up. Being a Bond villian is a dream for actors. And why is that?

Anthony: I intend to have you over for dinner, Mr. Bond
BOND: What's on the menu?
Anthony: You, Mr. Bond.

Now there's how you get an 'R' rating for the Bond films and kill the series at once.I would picture this scene with James Bond!

OK, now I could go for that. I even have the name of the villain he would play: Gabriel Vieira. Hehe. He kinda looks like a "Gabriel Vieira" doesn't he?He could be a suave Kamal Khan type villain, possibly.
How about Andy Garcia? He was pretty good in Ocean's 11.

I have nothing against the name, Gabriel, I personally just wouldn't want it as a Bond villain name. I think Bond villains names have to be very uncommon, and Gabriel just doesn't seem as so.I can do VERY well with villain names. How about:
Gabrielle Michael Della Vedova
-or-
Gabrielle Michael De Rosa

IMO of course.

I think he could portray Le Gerant, if that character was to ever be in the films, very well!
