He'd have done all the major franchises then... altho not SW? Go Hugo, altho I recon he'd be OTT as a Bond villain.I would personally like to see Hugo Weaving play as an ememy of Bond. Wait, I can almost hear it. I hear him saying "Mr. Bond" in that matrix agent voice already. (Laughs out loud) But in all seriousness, I have liked a lot of his recent work as Agent smith and Elrond, so I think he would be a good choice

Who Should Play Le Chiffre?

Might be the case for the villains in the new literary Bond series. My grade seven teacher could be a great Bond villian, that's just because I hate him!

"Ex-Baywatch star and soon-to-be rapper David Hasselhoff is wondering why he has not been offered a role in a Bond film, or even better, the chance to sing the theme tune. 'I like the idea of being a Bond baddie,' he said. 'I can do bad'."
That's funny because I've always thought he was bad in everything he did, especially singing.

In the new James Bond novel [insert name], young Bond is pivoted against the most vile villain ever to appear in any book, movie, or TV show... THE GIRL'S SEX-ED TEACHER!!!!!Might be the case for the villains in the new literary Bond series. My grade seven teacher could be a great Bond villian, that's just because I hate him!

Would never want to see him in a Bond film.I will be crucificated by saying this maybe but I think Tom Cruise could be a capable Bond villain. More of an Psycotic type villain.

ok...fair enough , good answer your's. Nothing offensive as all answers should be.In my own opinion of course, I think he is cocky, slightly stuck-up, sometimes overrated, and slightly annoying. I like some of his films, but he's just not my favorite. Therefore, I wouldn't want to see him act in a James Bond film, let alone as a villain.

If we are sticking with Brits ( we do bad guys soo well! ) I always championed Ben Kingsley though Patrick Stewart would be quite good.
Vanessa Redgrave is tops for a female villain, but Sigourney Weaver is close second.
American wise I would go for Tommy Lee Jones,Harvey Keitel and Steve Buscemi
and finally...
European I would go for Jean Reno and Rutger Hauer
Think that covers all angles..................

I agree slightly. I never was a fan of him. I thought he was good in "Minority Report". But back on topic, I think it'll be a stupid idea to have him play a baddie, when he already has a spy franchise of his own in "Mission: Impossible". It shouldn't be a cross-over with him. It's like saying Brosnan should be a baddie in his movies! Though a potential movie between Bond and Ethan Hunt sounds interesting...on paper I mean.In my own opinion of course, I think he is cocky, slightly stuck-up, sometimes overrated, and slightly annoying. I like some of his films, but he's just not my favorite. Therefore, I wouldn't want to see him act in a James Bond film, let alone as a villain.

I've no problem with someone from a similar style movie genre playing in a Bond film. But I do have a problem if Tom Cruise if that someone.I agree slightly. I never was a fan of him. The guy would make for a great villain. And he is South African...I think Arnold Vosloo should be a villian or maybe even a henchman.
