Hello there, my lovelies.

Finally, here is my Diamonds Are Forever poster. Not a lot of good material to work with. There seems to be only a handful of Connery photos from this movie and most of them are bad.

Anyway, what I've come up with is a design which seems to have ended up as a bookend to my Dr. No poster, which is okay since the two films in question are Connery's first and last Bond movies. I also threw in a little bit of Las Vegas glitz, so when you factor in the lettering and coloured line effect on the suit, you have a slight 1970's feel which isn't too garish or over-bearing.

As always, I hope you like it.

Owain

Henry-Jones-Sr, your work is improving! Even though your Dr. No - On Her Majesty’s Secret Service posters were simply stunning, I love what you've done with this. B)

Mharkin - Thank you very much! I did wonder if I'd missed the mark with this one, but you and one of my best friends have told me it's one of my best. What do I know?

Hello chums,

And here is my poster for On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

I wondered if two white posters in a row would be a bit naff, but then I thought what the hell. This Bond movie is almost completely snow-bound, so it had to be white to get the feel of the film across.

I spent a long time trying to perfect an image of Blofeld's mountain-top hideaway at the top of this poster, with a big snowy backdrop leading down to Lazenby, but in the end it looked quite silly. Without it, this simpler layout is way more elegant and striking.

Besides, the little shadow running across the poster reinforces the suggestion of snow very nicely by itself.

I sincerely hope you enjoy my poster. And now, I'm going to take a break from James Bond on this fine Saturday evening by brewing a nice cup of tea and watching ... Casino Royale!

Owain

Here's my Live And Let Die poster. Once again, this basic design went through many, many permutations until I ended up with this one.

I started off with a fire background, but in the end I couldn't escape from the fact that it looked naff. So I took the flame picture and adjusted it until it became what you see now.

I hope you like it.

Owain

UPDATE !!!

I wasn't happy with this poster so I've removed it and will post my new design below!

I wasn't happy with the last Live And Let Die poster. The broken glass on Roger's black body didn't work against that wispy, fiery background, and overall it just didn't say Live And Let Die to me. So I started again.

I think this simpler design works much better. However, I loved the aforementioned background so I'm saving it for a later poster - but which one have I got in mind, kids?

I was referring to the choice of colours. They blend in too easily to the background.

Morning all. Here's my poster for The Man With The Golden Gun.

Just like all the other posters, this one started out way more complicated until I found that by stripping it back it became much more effective.

I agonised over whether to drop Roger Moore from this poster, but I had to accept that the flow and design worked better without him. Lord have mercy on me.

Besides, I can just about get away with it on this occasion because Christopher Lee is the main villain and the title character. My wife politely disagrees, though.

Really? I didn't want it to look too Photoshop-y, so I used colours which I thought complimented each other rather well.

Here is my poster for The Spy Who Loved Me, my favourite Bond movie.

I tried out a different desert background but always came back to this one. I also switched back and forth between this and a negative version which made it look dark blue, but this just seemed better.

There's something about the desert and the typeface and and the layout which really FEELS like The Spy Who Loved Me.

I'm chuffed! Hope you like it.

What region are those disk covers from? I mean the big "12" in the circle telling you the contents of the film. I haven't seen that kind.

It's Region 2, which means it's a UK DVD cover. We get it on every single DVD cover, you get used to it eventually. B)
