Ok, why not start a fan art thread. I do have to ask that because of MGM copywrite reasons that you not attach any fan art with official MGM/Bond images to your post. But linking to the outside CBn web-pages is ok...

So does anyone have any links to web-pages that have cool Bond inspired photography or fan art? Here are a couple that I've had bookmarked for months now...

Here's one whipped up by our own lovely Joyce Carrington (009) after 004 and I visited.

I believe all the artwork is "MGM Safe"

I've never confirmed it, but I believe the eyes are hers.

Thanks Luv!

All the credit goes to Joyce. She just threw it together, but it was cute and rather cool.

The official "Matt & John - No, Really" one-sheet is in the works.

Here's one from my good BCW friend and fellow soldier of fortune Paladin. I had a long chat with him about a week ago and forwarded some pics from the weekend.

Usually while on the phone, he does a bit of what he calls "Photo doodling".

As I mentioned that his presence was sorely missed, he shot me the following with a note "Since you missed me, I couldn't resist adding myself to the fun...and Athena and Flicka!"

Gave me a good laugh. Athena, you and Flicka are rapidly becoming the "pin-up" girls of CBn. :)

Trust me, if you're "not on the list" - You're NOT getting in. :)

Yeah, I bought it, but the French government denied me an export permit. :)

I was going to avoid commenting on the "Girls" :)

Here's something I made back in 1995 before I had a computer. Yes, I made this with the good ol' copy machine, scissors and markers. :)

A little "wishful thinking" back in '95 Athena?

Still, very cool. I recall the good old cut/copy/paste (before those were all tabs that you could click on) days. Did my share of lamination as well.

Here's one I had done at the Universal City Walk with some friends. It was decided that I had to get this. Thus it hangs proudly on the wall in my office.

The caption/tagline across the top reads: "A world on the brink of war...Only one man could stop the madness."

:)

Thought this would be the perfect thread for me to talk about a little project I'm doing. There's this old computer in my room, which I only use for Word Perfect... and paint! So I started working on some James Bond posters using only the paint program- and the result is quite stunning. I've already shocked a few of my good friends! :)

The first poster advertises my upcoming James Bond fanfic, titled "Fire Strike" (which should be released later this year). Then, I decided to draw a tribute to one of the best James Bond movies of all time- Goldeneye! The GE pic is still under construction, but is looking damn good so far (if I do say so myslef). As for the Fire Strike, it has been set as my computer wallpaper! :)

I'll see if I can show you all some of my artwork, as I would be more than glad to share it with you! :)

Please.

Here's one pic I had forgotten about, but Flicka snapped it during a quiet morning at BCW6/Spyfest last year. She did it with her camera phone and opted for a B&W. A bit grainy, but at least my arms and shoulders were in good shape (well, better than average) :)

Catching me after my shower, this is my best "No more foreplay" pic.

It was truly on a whim, but sometimes those are the best.

I'll never forget Flicka "Get your PPK and point it at me...With the silencer."

:)

The very first thing I ever did with my first computer was Bond pictures on Paint. Quite interesting to say the least.

Here's a cover I offered to do for a fanfic a few years ago. For a while I was making a lot of stuff, but eventually just lost interest (it's a pain finding decent pics to use in posters, etc.)

I had wondered who did that title. Nice work Paul. :)

Would love to see that actual story once more also...

Very cool piece Athena!!! :) You've inspired me to share some of my old pieces myself. The first piece, though it is dated '87, was actually drawn in '85. Kinda proves that Brosnan was my first choice to replace Moore. It was inspired by John Gardner's 'For Special Services'. The second piece is a portrait of a younger Ian Fleming, that is correctly dated...it's too soft methinks, but I still see a vague resemblance to a young Fleming. The third piece is a self portrait caricature, done in 1988, note one half of a Living Daylights teaser poster on the wall...also in caricature. The fourth piece is self explanatory. I'll see if I can dig up more stuff. My best Bond related pieces were given away as gifts and my very favorite piece...which featured a dead on portrait of Dalton as Bond, was destroyed by a nun, as she felt it inappropiate to have a half naked woman hanging in the art hall. :)
