For various reasons, I will lack dependable computer/internet access for the next nine months. This means everything - including Blind Man's Bluff - is being put somewhat on hold. I dislike writing by hand, but that's mostly what I'll be doing, so everything will take twice as long and won't be posted for some time after it's finished. I'll be getting on here as much as I can to check who the next Bond will be, but other than that I won't have much time for such things.
Here's hoping CBn is still a lovely place when I return,
Liz

Not really an introduction, but I lack the confidence to make this a thread of its own.

Well that's a bit of a shame. We'll definitely be waiting for you and your great fanfiction pieces.

[quote name='Mona Lovesit' date='29 September 2005 - 03:55']This is my very first message in this forums so I am a virgin here I guess.

A very warm welcome to CBn, Mona.
I love the name too, but I'd be careful mentioning "virgin" too much around here.

Thanx Ian. Brett told me to keep an eye on you.

Hi ))&
Your "name" was going to get used one of these days was it not?
PS to all concerned: Brett can "see the light" but still a way to go.

I'm a bondfan from Germany and pretty active on one of the major german Bond-websites: jamesbond.de
However, I thought it would be very interesting to discuss 007 with other fans around the world. Thus, I decided to join my favourite news-source: CBn
Tomorrow will be a very interesting day and I'm really looking forward to the discusssion on the new actor.
Personally, I love Dalton's movies - especially "Licence To Kill": My favourite villain together with my favourite Bond actor and one of the most beautiful Bondgirls - a perfect cocktail. I enjoy those movies with a darker atmosphere and I appreciate the Young-Bond concept, though I'm afraid it will be turned down if Daniel Craig should become Bond #6.
Well, further I love to use Bond-quotes, but I have to train hard as I know more or less just the german ones. I'll give my very best.
In the end, I should add that I'll never shrink away from an argument. I respect the opinion of others and I respect those who stand on their point of view.
Thus, I wish u all a wonderful night before D-Day and hope that it will be an interesting time here.
Cheers, Timothy aka David

New poster. Fan for...a while now. Over a decade.
I have to admit I am shocked by the number of young and youngish people (like myself) posting on a James Bond website. I suppose the young are more friendly to the internet, but I'm also guessing alot of the younger posters were introduced via Brosnan?
Myself, I was initiated by Dalton, but I figure that's another thread...

Just thought i'd introduce my good self. Love all things JB, though have odd choices in personal favourites. I have this weird soft spot for Octopussy I can't seem to shake. Not so much the woman, but the film. Inexplicably, it seems to be my favourite. When I understand this, i'll let you all know.
Anyhow, top site and looking forward to getting stuck in.
(Oh, and just for the record. Daniel Craig= )

I can be described as somewhat Bohemian, just like Tom Baker(I'm also a Doctor Who fan). I also like Goth and Cybergoth, whether or not I could be considered one myself is a matter of debate.
Looking forward to seeing Casino Royale. Some of the stuff said aboug Daniel Craig is a criminal offense, I'm sure he'll do a good job.
