SnakeEyes and I have agreed that one of us can count for both of our bids, like TRS and The_Mole did.

~Devin

Thanks Qwerty, this is fine.

Current bid is trs007 and The_Mole on 2500.

Bad move, TRS, now Tanger and I will easily win with our bid of 7500.

The whole point of Lot#006 is to gain a better position for the exemptions in Lot#007. Betting all your points away here would be ridiculous.

Tee hee, silly me. OK, if TANGER approves, I say we bid 3750 points.

Off to bed now--very late--bye boys! :)

AW, Matt, we should have let her go. At least I caught myself when I almost did the same thing. (It's what happens when you're supposed to be working and you don't read the challenge fully).

Pft, matt helps the confused again :)

You should have let them go and then we could have gotten rid of the baggage for lot #007

I hope you win, dolce, even with your reduced amount.

I would enjoy seeing what comes about when the other 2 teams both bet 5000.

Yeah ok. 3750 points on Lot7.

Currently bidding on Lot#006.

Lot#007 doesn't start till this ends. I'll assume this is what you were referring to.

Current bid on Lot#006 is 3750points.

Lot#006 is closed. The Brix Bond Ban goes to Team A. for a price of 3750points. Congratulations to Dolce007 and Tanger.

Now it is up to Brix Bond to choose which team he will join. They are :

Team A - 3750points
Dolce007
Tanger

Team B - 5000points
The_Mole
trs007

Team C - 5000points
Qwerty
SnakeEyes

Lot#7 will begin shortly after his decision is posted here.

Brix.

Think about it dolce. Now we can't get the exemption.

The point of Lot 6 was so that the winners of Lot 7 wouldn't have to split the exemption between 3 if that were necessary. By bidding that amount of points has meant we don't have enough to bid on the exemptions, meaning our bid was totally useless and us winning lot 6 means absolutely nothing. It's worthless.

Women!!!

Still, makes it interesting to see how the remaining teams can outbid each other with the same amount of points. :)

Hmmm. Perhaps we could come to an arrangment so that my teams remaning points can be given to one of the other two? It'd cost you though, and since dolce has to do the quiz anyway....:)

What's the cost for the points?

Will Matt allow a transfer of points (although-there are no rules!!!)?

What about this:

I give the points from my team back to Matt and then he distributes them amongst the other two teams however he likes, I'm sure he'll come up with something. Anyway, as a sort of payment for this, I only have to answer one question of my choosing from the Mole Quiz at the end of the round. This way it acts as a sort of reward to me, but at the same time there's a 50/50 chance of me being right or wrong on this question. If I get it right, I go through. What about that?

It makes no difference to me but it certainly makes things a lot more interesting.

Well, if you're asking what everyone thinks, I say just throw them in as points for the team, and I'm sure Matt will or already has thought of what to do if this deadlock occurs, which it did.

Well.....I say we don't give anyone our points, and just let the team get 5000 points and everyone join me in the quiz.

That's what I think should happen and "pooh" on anyone who doesn't like it. :) :) :) :)

Yeah but if we persuade Matt to adding the remaining points to the team total then we are closer to beating the Mole. Technically he should do this as these points were given to us and as they have not been used they should become part of the team total.

Really? I don't remember reading that. In that case, if the other two teams really cared about beating the Mole, then they wouldn't bid at all and then let all their points got to the total.
We should have done the same thing dolce.
