I'm impatient.

Good things perhaps, but this will be the most interesting mole quiz yet, I think.

MOLE QUIZ EIGHT

This quiz will see two of you gone, one regular player and one out of The_Mole and dolce007. The former now has the advantage, we will soon see who your new official team mate is.

You earned 5,000 points this challenge, congratulations. But remember you lost the maximum number of points possible - this is a great victory for The Mole. How this happened is quite masterful, and close analysis of this challenge provides some of the best Mole Clues yet.

Best of luck to all of you.

Question 1.
Did The Mole* win any lots?
a. Yes
b. No

Question 2.
The Mole was initially on team_?
a. A
b. B
c. C
d. None of the above

Question 3.
By giving their points to Team B, Team A guaranteed Team B two exemptions. An exemption is the equivalent of 5 points on The Mole Quiz. Since The_Mole could only receive 1 point, they effectively ensured Team B received a total of 6 points towards their Mole Quizzes. Had they given the points to Team C they would have effectively then given away a total of 10 points towards their Mole Quizzes as that team did not contain The_Mole or dolce007. Mathematically then, signing away 3750 points seemed the option that would be best for the whole team. Was it?
a. Yes
B. No

Question 4.
What rank does The Mole hold at CBn?
a. Lt. Commander
b. Sub-Lieutenant
c. Lieutenant
d. Midshipman
e. Commander
f. Commander RNVR
g. Recruit

Question 5.
Who is The Mole?
a. Tanger
b. Brix Bond
c. dolce007
d. Qwerty
e. trs007
f. SnakeEyes
g. The_ Mole

*The Mole will be referred to like this, the player The_Mole will always be referred to with underscore.

Tanger: Thanks for a well-placed knife to the back.

Matt: You DID hear something of it, b/c I did PM you.

Tanger, I tried to help you b4 Dolce screwed you, too; and this is how you return the favor.

It is NOT amusing. I don't have a problem with Tanger blabbing our deal. The part I have a problem with is WHY he did it--b/c he maintains Matt never received a PM from me concerning this; which, in fact, I have just advised Tanger via PM to go back to Matt and have him RE-READ my PM's regarding this challenge.

What's done is done as far as the challenge, but I need Matt to RE-READ his PM's and clear up this serious breach of trust that is now between Tanger and I.

Matt: please re-read the PM I sent you right after we secured Tanger's points. I specifically referred to giving Tanger my exemption. Help.

Mole-net is back online.

Trs I have combed through and indeed a few days ago you mentioned the possibility of this deal with Tanger. I have heard nothing since, but yes indeed you did mention it.

As I told Tanger, you are welcome to donate your exemption to whoever you like. Though I somehow doubt you will.

FINE: Then let's put this matter to rest right now. I Hereby donate my exemption to Tanger, as was our deal.

I do this to restore trust between us; and to honor my word that this is what I promised to do. If my PM was not clear enough to make this a "given", then the fault was mine and not Tanger's; and I shall not hold him accountable for "taking our deal public".

Therefore, I will take the Mole quiz and submit immediately and Tanger should be granted an immediate exemption.

Do what you think is best TRS. I've already submitted a Mole Quiz anyway which I did as a backup in case you decided to not give me the exemption.

The only reason I spoke out was because matt was pretty certain that he hadn't received anything from you. Now that he says he has, I apologise. I did trust you but I didn't want to get screwed over. I was just being cautious and wanted to make sure that you honoured your word.

I already did what is best--I kept my word; which is what should have happened all along and, as I said before, it was my fault that I wasn't cleared to Matt which led to this whole mess.

The exemption is yours, as promised.

see you in Challenge 9

ELIMINATION

The_Mole and Dolce007 have both submitted their Mole Quizzes and the elimination of one of them will now occur.

The second elimination will take place soon, but the game must progress.

Challenge Nine begins immediately after this elimination.

Best wishes.

Oh well. At least I'll be in the starting line-up of Mole III. :)

I was very busy today and had to whack the quiz out quickly. If I had more time, I would have gone over evidence I've gathered.

Well done Dolce.
