Comiserations to your lost fellow contestants, but don't consider this an execution as much as a prisoner exchange.

Over the past two weeks you have lost half the team. One would think losing weaker players, thus being left with those who have a better idea of who The Mole is, would help the team improve. Sadly, it has not.

So meet your new team mates - The_Mole and Dolce007. They will be officially joining the team during this challenge. At the end of the week both will fill in The Mole Quiz and one of them will be able to join the team permanently if they gain a higher score than a. 3/5 and b. the other.

Each have accepted special conditions in joining the game which will take care of the question all of you should be asking.

Challenge Eight begins soon, in the meantime it would be nice of you to make The_Mole and Dolce feel welcome.

I'm ok with The_Mole joining because he seems pretty decent. We've had problems with dolce before though so this could make things worse. Is only one of them joining?

Also it's not fair on us, who have come through the whole game, if they win is it?

I would think getting a higher score than the other means only one of them might join, but who knows?

Nothing's ever been fair in this game.

I don't like the idea of new players joining mid-game, either, BUT, since we've so horribily mishandled most of the challenges, how could it possiblly hurt?

I think this is what Matt was referring too. I cannot speak for The_Mole but I have accepted conditions from him which address these questions - the first of which is that I cannnot discuss these conditions. What I am allowed to say is that this will not directly affect the game for the other players, and that Matt is a very clever man.

So it looks like I'm one of you now. Persistance, persistance, persistance. Bring on my first challenge.

For now all that each team has to do is pick a number - 1, 2 or 3. They can do this privately and when both members post that number in this thread it will be locked in, and not available to the other teams. These numbers correspond to certain point values which will be revealed once all three teams are locked in.
