See. That's exactly like TLD and LTK. I want to see them both but have to see them one at a time. D'oh!

That would get old after awhile, wouldn't it? It's like someone who just got into Burt Reynolds, and all they want to do is watch Smokey and the Bandit 1&2, and none of the other Burt Reynolds films. There's a lot more out there, and you might even be shocked if you watched films like From Russia With Love with the same fervor and dedication that you watch Dalton's movies.

I do, I do. The early Connery films are good too. But I prefer Dalton. I enjoy his films. I watch all the Bond films with 'fervour'. Well, apart from AVTAK and perhaps TMWTGG. They are cringe making.

You know what? TMWTGG makes me cringe, too. AVTAK is fun if you want to enjoy it in a Mystery Science Theater 3000 kind of way. It's one of those Bonds where Bond is in the pre-credits sequence, but he's not really there, if you know what I mean. {cough, stuntman}

AVTAK isn't without merit. Max Zorin is a great Baddie.

He's a great Baddie in the wrong movie. That has happened before in other Bond films. {cough, The Man With The Golden Gun}

Yes, I agree. But all Bond films have some good points and AVTAK's is Zorin.

You know what MGM should do just for you? Put License To Kill and The Living Daylights in a two-pack DVD, throw the whole shabang in extras in there, and send it to you. You are the biggest fan of those two movies I have ever heard of, so the gift should be all yours.

That would be heaven. They'd wear out in about a week though. I've borrowed them from the rental shop a damn few times. I really should buy them.

You don't have DVD? Get a DVD player and get these two so you won't have to borrow them all the time and you can jump to your favorite scenes. I'm sure you have many of those.

Wow, so are you the one person the world who could right now act out the entire movie from memory? Not that I'm asking for you to do it right now, but you could, couldn't you?

Well, I don't know about that. Perhaps I could, but not in order. I could probably if I really tried. I know TLD better than LTK - I would struggle more with LTK.

Do you know about the scene in The Living Daylights where Bond hits an innocent bystander with his car in Tangiers?

It's right in there before the scene in Pushkin's hotel room. Bond is out there watching him with his glasses. Watch for it. Bond starts to pull forward and someone is in the way and he, shall we say, accidentally nudges them with the hood of his car.

Oh that. I thought you were referring to something else. I think I was thinking of LTK with the tankers.

There's a big difference between the tankers accidentally hitting someone and Bond with a little car. SPLAT!!!

But wasn't there something weird in LTK when they filmed that? I can't remember now, but something really freaky happened.

Check out the posting down below the list about the ghost in LTK. You gotta get the DVD because there's a documentary about the making of the film and it's mentioned on there.

That's it!! The ghost. That bit in TLD is quite funny though. (unintentionally.)

And you all thought Roger Moore was the worst driver as Bond. See? They all had their moments.

Just because Moore didn't knock down an innocent bystander. He's far too careful to be Bond. Out of interest, who is your favourite Bond?

It's a tie between Connery and Brosnan, a Scotsman and an Irishman, go figure.

James Bond is a Scot, so surely Connery edges it?

You know, Fleming made him half Scots-half Swiss AFTER Connery was in the part. Fleming liked Connery after he saw him in the role, but in the beginning....it was a different story.

Let me get out the old board and find out. Wait, I know, let me ask John Edwards. He would surely know, wouldn't he? Honestly, we can only speculate.

believe it or not, Fleming actually wanted Roger Moore and/or David Niven for the part in the early 60s. Niven of course was in Casino Royale.
