If we keep posting a list though we won't get too lost. So the words are:

DR NO
GOLD
YORK
NOAH
TARO
MILT

Who hasn't yet submitted their word?

Ok

My clue was:

Fourth word of Bond short story title

Which has to be YORK from 007 IN NEW YORK because it's the only short story title with a four letter fourth word.

No, there are others.

A Midsummer Night's DOOM

For Your Eyes ONLY

Blast from the PAST

OK, I am really at crosswords, and general word-fittng al together, I can basically say if a letter is going to be a consanant or a vowel, so if I get all the words, then I will probably be able to fit them in. But chances are, the mole and people who are trying to look like the mole are throwing out bad words, which is going to be a problem.

So I say that we ask where one of the words we are sure of, is located on it, then we work around it. Otherwise, we have no hope.

I am positive my word is Bond.

Clue: What these forums are all about.

You guys are a long, long way from completing this.

Could I recommend compiling a solid list of all the clues first, that way you will have every variable.

Here is what I think:

This is such an easy challenge for the mole to sabotage, and for that reason, I highky doubt we will succeed. So even if we do ask, it probably won't even matter. I would rather wlak away with 1000 points then nothing.
And since I know for sure what my word is, I am going to ask where it is in the crossword.

This whole team work thing isn't working.

We only have 1 mole and yet the other lot can't get it together lol.

Like I and then Fraternal said, lets blow some points on a certain start point and work from there.

You only have to score 50,000 to 'beat' the mole, and you got 8,000 from challenge 1 already. What's a couple of K gonna matter?

I agree about the ATAC thing. That makes more sense. Or maybe, it's meant to make sense to lure us into using it and the object is really something else.

Who hasn't replied yet?

Not everybody has to answer, no doubt that someone won't, but if we have enough words, we can guess the others, if we have enough. Like I said, I am great at doing that type of thing. I can tell what each letter wil be, or what it won't be.

Is everyone fine about me asking where my word is?

Idiot! You couldn't wait until we had all the clues in, could you? From now on we collaborate on these hints as a team. So no Paco, you can't have it until we have more clues in. First we need the clues + answers THEN we will work on their position together. So Matt, disregard what Paco has said.

Brix, don't hold back, tell us how you really feel. :)

I think Matt will honor Paco's request, since he made it and there is nothing about any of us cancelling a request of others.

However, going forward we should all agree to ask before forking over another 1000.

I guess it's time to start trimming mole overheads.

RATATATATA

The Mole: "I want you to know somethings amigos: sabotage is more important to me than points."

SnakeEyes is about to throw a rock onto a mole hill
The Mole: "There's 50,000 points and a custom avatar in that private message from Matt"
SnakeEyes: "You earned it: you keep it, 'ol' buddy'."
SnakeEyes drops the rock on the hill.

Hope i'm not dropping a rock on my own head. :)

Well, I think it too early to start pointing fingers at would-be Moles, but Pacos actions might get my vote in the quiz. First he "quits", then he's back and now tossing another one of his famous 1000 point bribes.

Glad someone picked up on my LTK reference, though.

We'll rule from now on that word requests must be seconded by another member of the team before it is granted.

Going strong guys.
