I don't think we're going to pass this.

Sun Tzu, The Art of War: Every Battle is Won or Lost, Before It is Ever Fought.

Also, if we proceed under the "assumption/pattern" that ALL words have the vowel in the second place, then ONLY as a title part needs to be one of the other offerings in previous threads.

No we're not going to pass this because half of the 'team' haven't posted their clues. We're doing fine as it is, but if the lazy bastards would care to post their clues we might go places.

This is why we're having problems finding a link between all the clues and filling in those missing gaps. Not because we can't figure out the clues themselves.

Well, look for who hasn't posted clues. Makes "Mole spotting" easier for future quizzes.

I know I posted my clue and possible words. If you all think I should ask matt which word it is let me know.

As have I and others--however, without ALL the clues, why spend our points, we'll still end up in a guessing game without all of the clues. Assuming everyone has even provided the right clues! :)

With (applies to both FRWL and TMWTGG)

I like to run a happy ship, so with 24 hours left to complete this challenge I have a present.

If you scramble, you might still make it.

WOOF!

Jeez, wheres the fun in playing this if we're gonna get huge clues like that :)
If we're not clever enough to pass this test on our own, we dont deserve to pass it.

Don't forget what the game is about.

For that, this Challenge should be watched very, very carefully.

You don't need to give that clue, I already know that mole is one fo the words, and where it goes in fact.

Theres a difference between clues and big huge giveaways that help u solve it but take away the fun. Its the difference between playing Agent Under Fire and Everything Or Nothing. One gives u everything you need, the other lets you figure it out for yourself.

OK, this is what I got.

Now 'MOLE' can be replaced by 'MILT'

And these are the clues left.

Sanchez switched him OFF

Spoof Character of Blofeld - so this relates to KI_S

Just to clear up how I got each word, i.e what clue.

Second Part of a henchmen's name = NACK
Last name of Bond girl in Dr. No = TARO
What these forumas are about = BOND
Third word of a bond book title = EYES
Henchman = JAWS
Third word of a bond film title = DIES
Third word of a bond film title = WITH
Conquest in TSWLM = ATAC
Bond novel = COLD
Part of 3 movie titles = GOLD
Bond girl = MARY
4th word in a short story = ONLY
Deceased Bond girl = JILL

So like I said, I am not to sure about MOLE, but I am pretty sure.

So I say we buy the word for Spoof of Blofeld and or sanchez switched him off.

If we buy both, we still get 9000, so I say we buy both.

Okay, one thing I don't understand is, since when is it sure "Mole" is one of the words ? And why ?
Is it because there was one clue less than the full, the one by the Mole ? So if the other words we have fit in the scheme, that would mean one of those who didn't post their clue is the Mole ? :)
Fraternal, I agree we ask for the Blofeld spoof, as neither of the mentionned possibilities fits in the current proposition.

Let me say this, everyone has said there clue.

"Don't forget what the game is about.

For that, this Challenge should be watched very, very carefully. "

Tells me that I am right in thinking that it is mole.

And just for the reference, in case I am not on when we have to submit the final crossword, I think it is KINS.

Well, the is interesting, but I say we only cave in to word/point bribes at the 11th hour.

We want as many points as we can. Don't we?
