She moves over to the casino, following 004.
009: Oops. Wait a minute.
She turns back to the guest and grabs her blended Scotch back.
Guest: My 20 quid?
009: Sorry, do I know you?
Guest: Playing it rough... are we?
009: Hmm? Who are you?
Guest: Alright, I give up.
009 grins and joins 004 at the blackjack table.

002: (After giving the VIP line one last look) Why not go to the Roulette wheel and play our numbers.
008: Not a bad idea.
008 and 002 return to the casino for a bit more fun.

008: Think we're being too cute?
002: Yes.
008 shrugs and places his chips on the numbers 11 and 7.

002 and 008 are taking a shot at the roulette tables while 004 with 009 along srticty as an "observer" at the blackjack table.
The orchestra is playing a lovely version of the Emperor's Waltz. Many guests are dancing. The food has been excellent all evening. The services nothing short of first rate.
The number of guests seems to have reaced it saturation point. It has been a successful evening.
At the roultee table where 002 and 0008 are playing you can hear the call: 11 - BLACK
004 has received two Aces and splits his hand. The first hand he is delt a King of Spades and collects 600 pounds. The second hand he is delt a Six of clubs. The dealer is howing a fzce card. He calls for another card and is rewarded with a Three of Diamonds. The dealer flips over her hole card. It is a Nine of Clubs. He collects 400 pounds which he hands to 009.
It is 19:16 PM.
The Queen will be making her entrance soon.
What are you going to do?

BUT she will make her way over to the back entrance of the building to make sure no one seizes the opportunity of the excitement caused by the arrival of the Queen to sneak inside the building. She does not feel the need to greet the Queen and wishes to remain in the background.

Sir Miles: (with a rare grin) Here John, try this. I'm on the cellar's "list" 'round here.
*Bryce samples just a taste from the glass and is awe struck. A sweet, smoky flavor which nearly evaporates in his mouth. Bryce glances from his glass back to Sir Miles*
Sir Miles: It's the 1901 Glenlivet. "Long live the King" and all that. Better than all the young stuff you prefer. *smiles*
003: Thank you sir.
Sir Miles: So, I've been quite assured by Barbara *gestures to M across the room* that you're still keeping busy.
003: The world seems to keep itself in enough trouble to make things interesting. I still miss some of it from the "cold" days.
Sir Miles: Back when you, James, Matt, Stephan and Ian were still my knights on the great board, we certainly saw to it that things stayed "warm". *noticing 004* How is Matthew these days?
003: Engaged.
Sir Miles: Who finally snared him?
*Bryce gestures to Joyce at the tables*
003: 009 - Joyce Carrington. She's quite a lady and a damn good operative. They've been smitten like kittens for the last two months.
Sir Miles: In my day, I would have congratulated them both and then requested their resignations...but...It's a new world I suppose.
003: He know's the risks....So does she. She wouldn't have made the rank if she didn't. I like her. He's quite happy. He's still Matt though.
Sir Miles: I'm going to try to get his attention and say hello at some point.
003: He'd like that sir.
Sir Miles: I'm retired. Miles, please. *he places a hand on Bryce's shoulder as he begins to move off towards the gaming tables* Always good John. Now go enjoy yourself.
*Bryce stands finishing his scotch and lights a cigarette still marveling at the old fox who sent him into the "field" time and time again*
003: Gotta love that old sailor.
Bryce ashes his cigarette as a voice sounds from behind him.
Voice: When am I going to get a dance?
*Bryce puts out his smoke and spins around to find a stunning Sharon O'Keefe in an emerald green gown. Bryce quickly takes her hand and kisses her lightly*
003: There you are luv. Sorry I had to arrive with the office. Did you bring the Jag?
O'KEEFE:Yes, it's out front with the valet.
003: Any problems?
O'KEEFE: No, but I don't think they were too impressed by IRG ID...or the Beretta on my right thigh.
*Bryce gestures to a passing waiter*
003: MacCallan 18 on the rocks and a Bushmills 10 - single malt - neat.
*waiter nods and returns almost immediately with their drinks. They take them and then stroll arm-in-arm towards the dance floor. Bryce makes a quick sweep of the room for the other double-o's and other events. Checks his pocket for spare Jag keys.*

You can see the casino dealers, pit bosses, and other staff concluding gaming for the interium.
The bar staff communicating to their clientel who take ther drinks and are moving into places where the view is at its best.
Suddenly, a number of guard seem to setp out of the crowd and begin to form an aisle betwen the dias and the main entrance.
The orchestra halts the Mozart concerto they are playing and pause, the conductor is awaitng for his cue.
There is suddenly a hush over the room.

003: This will be something to tell your children about.
O'KEEFE: Perhaps 'our' children? *naughty grin*
003: *pulls her close* - Maybe...but I'm certainly all for continued practice in making them.
O'KEEFE: Damn Scotsman.
003: Wicked Irish girl.
*O'Keefe sticks out her tongue. Bryce briefly crosses his eyes. Both snicker quietly*

O'KEEFE: Very sobering....Pity.
003: I'd prefer not to have scotch on my breath if I have to shoot anyone. Then again, Sir Miles always used to tell us to stay away from gin and vodka and stick to scotch or bourbon.
O'KEEFE: Why was that?
003: So the Royals would know that we were drunk and not stupid.
*O'Keefe nearly chokes on her drink and covers her mouth surpressing a laugh*

Eaaasy, Johny. Your sub-vocal is being scrambled, so there won't be any tap ins - but.
Ah, just a second everyone.....
The sound goes out in everyones sub-vocal unit. Then a few seconds later comes back on.
There we go. Just had to pull the disc out and replace it. with a blank one. I just realized that our communications are between us only - but we WERE being recorded. Keep it professional, ladies and gents.
I am switching the recorder back on - now.
Stand by. The Queen should be entering any moment.

009: Do you happen to have any blended Scotch on you?
*002 gives her a very VERY scary look*
009: Never mind.
