*008 adjusts his subvocal and leans against the wall, stretching his back a little. He smiles as a pretty waitress passes.*

W: Feeling alright?

008: A slight stiffness, but I think I can get on top of it just fine.

Suddenly, the orchestra strikes up that familiar music. God Save 'The Queen.'

A host of the palace guard marches throught the main dorrway in two by two formation. They are followed by a few other mobles, an earl, a duke, Fergie, and The Queen herself who is followed in by antoehr host of palace guard. All bow as she passes by.

The entire entorage moves up to the dias and The Earl of Chadwick steps up to the microphone and the orchestra dips down to a polite and soft mix of strings.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen, of Her Majesty's government, I am proud to present to you, Her Majesty, The Queen"

As the cheers go up The Queen approaches the microphone...

009 is standing at the back door and is eager to hear what the Queen has to say.

Based on her position in the room from what's been described, Bryce and O'Keefe are off to the right in the back. At about the Queen's 10 O'Clock and probably only 25 feet away.

*Bryce scans the crowd casually*

002 remains on what I believe is her left as she steps up to the microphone.

Xenobia doesn't move but follows the movements of the waiter with her perpheral vision. She notes that he enters the kitchen at a time when no one is supposed to be moving -- not even a cricket moves when the Queen speaks.

002: There appears to be a cook looking to spoil the soup. Does anyone else see some cooks looking to join the party?

At the microphone the Queen begins her adress.

"Distunguished guests, lords and laides and gentlemen. I bid you good evening and welcome,

It is with great gratitude that I commend the highly necessary and dedicated work of those who are present with us tonight."

*The exit door to the kitchen shuts.*

"I am pleased to welcome you and I am honored by the highly successful year we have enjoyed in the international community...."

008 listens, casually glancing over at the kitchen after a few seconds. He whispers into his sub-vocal.

008: 002, you get a look at that waiter's face?

Yeah...the two guys are similiar, perhaps to the point of familial relation, but it is not the same man.

But that just makes it worse...we have TWO men on the move when no one should be.

002: Bryce just went to apply for the Sous Chef position. I say we stay around here just in case the interview doesn't go well.

002: Like the song says, God will save her. Besides, if we start moving, that might tip off the wrong folks that we know something is wrong.

Otherwise - nothing out of the ordinary. The Queen continues to drone on and on about honor and integrity. Honorable, very dignified, boring dribble.

004 SV's in to the general group: I can't see what is or isn't happening over here, but I'm going to see if they take travelers checks.

To All: I've got blood in the kitchen and there's no Diplomatic Security boys, or anyone else, in here. The place is not normal. I'm staying put but a couple of you get in here and someone tip off the Palace that all is not well in the kitchen. Discreetly.
