I love the gentle touch of a woman....ouch.

If you land at Edwards Air force base, we can take that SR-71 and have you BMW shipped back.

004 looks at her.

Wanna go a plane ride, lady?

004 gives her a serous look

Fourty five minutes later.

009 lands her vehicle at Edwards much to the amazement of the base commander and the ground crew on duty.

She pulled up to the CNC and 004 presents himself and speaks with the officer of the day.

After signing a few forms (as Lance Freeman, 006) 009 and 004 walks across the tarmak to a closed hangar.

004 looks at her.

009 "What now?"

004 "Its time to get you out of those clothes again....and in to someting a bit more....suitable......you know....form fitting....pressurized......

004 smiles.

009: You know I'll kick you in the head if you don't....

004 in movk seriousness...."YEs, MA'AM!"

004 "We'll need to get into gear. Hurray. This wil be...an experience."

Lets go.

Evade being kicked.

That wont work. Uh, keep me from staring....

ANYWAY....

004 leads 009 through a door to a airplane hangar.

It is dark. An enormous object sits in the hangar.

On a signal from 004, a ground crewman opens the hangar doors.

As the immense doors open 004 turns to look at 009, wanting to see her expression more than the plane.

As the illumination from outside trickles in...the huge plane begins to take shape in her eyes.

The dim light slips over the plane, which grow ever larger in the moonlight. The cockpit looks tiny at the top of the giant aricraft.

009's eyes grow ever wider until her lips part. A small gasp of air escapes her mouth.

004: "Yes, it is, isn't it?"

004 leads 009 to the lift and they go up to the cockpit. 004 reaches over and opens it.

Looks at her. "Get in."

Okay, Joyce, take a look at the control around you.

You will be flying this WITH me.

Don't worry, I will be doing most of it.

You will be helping me with instrumentation.

Just look where I tell you to and read back to me what you see....simple as that.

Oh,and if I black out...the autopilot switch is on you left hand side....ejction on you lower right.

Don't worry....I'm feeing pretty good. The anti-biotics are helping tremendously.

Yes, the is alpha tango zeta one, alpha tango zeta one requesting take off on runway niner, repear, runway niner....

A brief conversation between 004 and the tower takes place.

004 is busy hitting switches and the jet hums to life.

YOu know that's hard to do in this cockpit.

004 pushes the throttl gently forward.

The huge blackSR-71 begins to roll out to the runway.

004 circles it around once he reaches the runways end.

Okay, relax.
This is fun.
Trust me.

Thank you tower, we are engaging lift off.

004 shoves the throttle foreward and the jet lurches down the tarmak.

009 sits as relaxed as she can, but her heart is racing.

The great black jet leaps of the ground and like a predatory bird lifts screaming into the night sky.

Okay, we've just broken Mach 1.
Hang on. Theres NO traffic anywhere near us for a thousand miles.

Climbing higher, Matt warns Joyce.....okay this will kick a little...just the way works....here we go....3....2.....1....

004 kicks in the afterburners slamming them back into their seats....the plane pushes forward ever faster.

We're at Mach two........three......four........reaching our cruising altitude......our ETA to New York....uh....oh I forgot....we'll be refueling over New York.....45 minutes.....and about 55 minuters from there.

Check the fuel pressure reading found on your left and give me a number....

Joyce.....

DOUBLE - O - NINE....you iokay??

A voice comes back....thrity seven hundred.

Please relax and kick back, take off you shoes and stay a while...and thank you flying air O'Shawanessy....its okay my lady, its just smooth flying from here...

How are you my dear 009?

CLUE:

oo4, still weak from the disease infected upon him by the Cat, wills himself to full consciousness. He realises that it will be tough and tiring, but God damn it, he will not let that stop him.

In order to bring himself back up to speed with the mission he goes through the MI6 records database. Reading through he summarises in in his mind. Blofeld's Cat has threatened to kill all of the double-O agents. 007 is missing. The Cat has claimed to have him. M assigned all double-Os to first find 007 then stop the Cat. So far 0012 and 00* have been apparently killed by the Cat.

He notes Bond111's summary of clues at least up until 25-09-2003 09:59 PM GMT.

He also notes that the MI6 records database? is searchable simply by typing the codeword "Mr. Clue" into the "Search by User Name" field and then selecting "Show results as posts".

He notes the some of the clues have apparently been solved. A photo background from an attachment to an email from the late 0012 was identified by 009 as Silver Peak, Nevada. The coordinates from "MSG CONSISTED OF NUMBERS 37 74410 MINUS 117 61843" were identified by 00* as Alcatraz Island, Nevada. A partial number "27031..." is possibly referring to 00*'s birthday, 27 March, 1964.

The Nevada clues were an apparent trap that 00* fell into.

Somewhere in buried under the ground near Silver Peak, Nevada a PDA comes to life for the last time. The timer program sends an email through a series of automated forwarding systems to John Bryce, Matt O’Shawnassey, and James Bond. In addition to the Alexander Starrky’s Journal Entry No. 1 two more files were sent. All were high-level password encrypted. The following is how the files look when recieved:

The Journal of Alex Starrky

The Journal of Alex Starrky

Entry No. 3

My earlier encounter has my convinced that the top of Alcatraz Island has the rest of the pieces to this puzzle. Or at least enough to see the picture. I do now know Bond is not here in Nevada, but I won’t be able to pinpoint him until I get more answers. And if my theory proves right, all I need to do is pinpoint Bond to save him.

I wonder if Bond will think the clue I found about the vet on Benson Street ironic.

In case I don’t come down from atop the Rock, I’m setting this PDA to email this journal in 36 hours. And then I’ll bury it where it won’t be found.

Bryce, Matt, James bury Alex Starrky in a small grave with the dates 2003-2003 on it. It’s damn short life after the business, boys. Never leave.

Sept. 28th 2003 - 1721 hrs. - Bryce's Flat - 24 hours earlier

O'Keefe lays across couch bound and gagged. Three men in masks and suits stand over her.

One finsihes sending text message via 003's phone.

MAN 1: Done.

MAN 2: Picks Bryce up from floor. He's clearly been hit once or twice. Further it becomes apparent that there are an additional THREE goons strewn about the room DEAD.

- One slumped in a corner - the wall behind him is a red/grey smear trailing down to his sitting form. Three holes are clearly visable in the wall.

- One lays across the coffee table with a Scottish Claymore broadsword driven through his chest pinning him to the table.

- The last has clearly had his nose driven in and up into his brain - matching black bags under both eyes and blood trickling from the right ear.
note: O'Keefe has a red bruise on the heel of her left hand.

MAN 2: NOW THEN! NICE TRY!!(gestures to O'Keefe) You're full of tricks too...
(to #1) Get a piece of her hair for the cat.

BRYCE: (wincing) I prefer a "hair of the dog"

Bryce reverses #2's hold and slams him against the bookcase and then rolls over English Oak desk. Both 1 & 3 Open fire with silenced weapons. Bryce reaches under desk.

BRYCE: FLOOR!

O'Keefe flops onto floor from couch. #1 takes a shot which barely misses her.

Bryce grabs the grip of Weatherby 1786 broom spread musket and pulls trigger. A LOUD blast blows out the back of the desk sending a fan-spread (1 meter above the floor) of 200 9mm pellets. #1 and #3 are hit and thrown off their feet into the back wall. Both drop.

O'Keefe looks up with the expression of a VERY surprised Irish Kitty. Removes gag and has already gotten her hands free.

O'KEEFE: What was THAT!

BRYCE: Something my Dad picked up when I was young.(realizing that #2 is nowhere to be seen)

Car tires squeal in the distance. Bryce stumbles to window. Nothing.

BRYCE: (almost muttering-angry) My duty. My home. My Office. My friends. My....(O'Keefe grabs him and they hold each other)

O'KEEFE: I'm fine. Thank you for asking.(raises eyebrow in a sarcastic arch)

Bryce grins. Takes her face in his hands.

BRYCE: I want you to go to Belfast. Inform your people and get THIS (Bryce affectionately pats her bottom lightly) covered.

O'Keefe puts her hand over Bryce's keeping it in place on her right buttock.

O'KEEFE: (smiling) No.

BRYCE: Yes.

O'KEEFE: Compromise. The castle?

BRYCE: (realizing her brilliance) Of course.....Go. I've just got to figure out what the hell is going on...

O'Keefe begins searching thugs and Bryce goes over to his computer after disarming all the bodies.

READ THIS:

The second largest earthquake of the 20th Century and the largest ever recorded in the northern hemisphere, occurred in Alaska on March 27, 1964 (3/27/64 05:36:14.0 p.m., local time; 3/28/64 03:36:14.0 GMT). The earthquake had a magnitude 9.2 (Moment Magnitude) and caused extensive damage in Alaska. Local tsunami waves triggered by this earthquake were extremely destructive in Prince William Sound and other areas of Alaska. A Pacific-wide tsunami was generated which was destructive in Western Canada, Oregon, California and the Hawaiian islands. It was recorded by tide gages throughout the Pacific. Even tide gauges in Cuba and Puerto Rico recorded sea level oscillations from that event. A Tsunami Warning was issued by the Tsunami Warning System in Honolulu for Hawaii and the West coast of United States and Canada. Regional Tsunami Warning Centers in Japan, Chile, the former Soviet Union and elsewhere, issued warnings. Combined, the earthquake and tsunami took 125 lives (tsunami 110, earthquake 15), and caused about $311 million in property loss (in 1964 dollars).

Note that the date was 27 March 1964. It also says Prince William Sound, something you can read in Alex' Starrky's file.

What does he mean with 'the vet on Benson Street' anyway?

As to my note from the Cat....This is a prime example of what can happen when you get your pets "fixed" before they've had a chance to have sex. I've got a bag full of everything the five at my flat had. I'm dropping it off for Q and G to have a look at.
