*Xenobia arrives after a heavy day of negotiating with the North Koreans about their fascination with Plutonium and large phallic objects disguised as missiles.*

Remind me to never again mention in the staff quarters that I should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize because of the flames I have put out so far. *sigh*

Athena, I need you take a memo about the situation. *Looks at Athena, and realizes Athena is looking at someone else.* Right. OK, you are out of commission for the rest of the day. Let me go find the junior staffer...Oh 003...

Oh who am I kidding! Bryce types worse than a drunken monkey.

*Xen grabs her notes, a bottle of non-imported Vodka and locks herself in the office to type*

So much for my weekend.

Oh Xen... I can take a memo for you, it's not like I'm doing anything this weekend either. Yes, our 00's have all the fun... *sigh* ...oh, plus you know; I am an expert typist... :)

FINALLY!

Someone who actually works in the double-oh division! Well done Athena. And you didn't need any Scotch to make you perform.

We really must do something about 003 and 004. Perhaps they need to take up residence at the DMZ Holiday Inn or we should them out to look for Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Scratch that last idea...those two are WMDs.

Depends on what the monkey and I are drinking.

Problem is the little guy turns into "Furious George" whenever it's his turn to buy the next round.

Speaking of drinking out of bowls...

This might prove that I am a cat: I used to take a bowl, fill it with milk, set the bowl on the floor... and lick up all the milk like a Kitty...

*009 sets down his glass for a second and looks around for the idiot that opened the vermouth bottle near his perfectly chilled vodka. Nothing like wine to ruin a perfectly nice vodka. Quadruple distilled and made from glacier water...but I digress.

I remember a mission involving a monkey. Thankfully the monkey was only used as a diversion. It seems he was very good at Baccarat and my contact in St. Thomas sent him in before me to plant a bug on the fellow I was there to "watch"...OK kill. Thanks to Q branch the bug really was a bug. I'm still not sure how they kept that monkey from eating it and got him to place it in the guy's clothes.

The bug worked like a charm. I got everything I needed to stop a very large arms shipment, transferred the funds to a private account, and took the guy out that same night. Never saw the monkey again...

Cut to monkey screeching and banging on 004's head.

*"Waiter, bring me some more vodka. Shake it till it frosts over then pour it into a glass with a lemon twist. No vermouth. And put the vodka bottle in the freezer so it will be cold later."

Well from what I've heard, 004 staggered into the place that night with another one of his hangovers and started hitting on the monkey. Seems they got to talking and ended up in an argument over the relative qualities of the Planet of the Apes remake. 004 didn't seem to mind the banging or screeching, it was when the little guy knocked over his scotch that things got nasty. I don't want to get into graphic detail but just think of how 007 handled Nick Nack and replace the suitcase with a banana peel.

004, please tell me this is a horrible fabrication on the part of a bitter techie!

Quite.

Very.

Indeed.

Blah.

Apparently, I have been away far too long.

004 locks down his flat, hits the keyless remote, both, opening the driver's door and starting the engine of his Aston-Martin Lagonda.
Once behind the wheel, its a short drive down the M5 into London and into the MI6 headquarters parking garage.

Driving in slowly, he sees 003 talking to a couple of technicians, presumeably about the scotch stains on the back seat of his XJ7.

004 reaches down to touch three distinct buttons on his panel and brings up his heads up display.
Putting 003 in his crosshairs, 004 opens fire.

Comicly the technicians run into each other and in all direction at the sound of gunfire. 003, rather startled, does what we laughingly call the "Dance of Death" and drops, riddled and in a heap to the cement garage floor.

004 realeases the firing mechanism, shuts down his head up, and slowly pulls up along side the prone 003

A brighly colored and rather astonished (and somewhat peeved) 003 begins to pat himself over, looking for leaks. Yet, to his surprise, finds none.

004: "Love those paint pellets. You need to have Q give you a few loads. Tons of fun. I'm heading over to the MI5 parking lot. Care to join?

003 stands up and rights himself, having to laugh, in spite of his stained suit.

004: Oh, don't worry John. The rounds I hit you with will practically wipe of with a good terry (tosses him one). Here, these work best. The rounds we'll use at MI5 are....the newer and improved lot.

003: (With a smirk, knowing that the FUN WILL NOW BEGIN) Got any scotch?

004, smiling, holds up a bottle, and chilled, no less.

004: Found a liter of 21 year old McCallan. Unless you have another preference?

Here Kitty, kitty.....

Not fair... I admit.....Not nice to tease Moneypenny.

Xen - It is IMPOSSIBLE to deprive 004 & I of Scotch (many have tried) even the blended stuff (many have died).....and do you even grasp how many bottles (of all sizes) of Tabasco I have stashed in my car, office or townhouse?

You've seen my fridge....aside from presently lacking in smoked salmon (no thanks to Blofeld's Cat at the office and the Irish lounge kitty at the townhouse), I'm usually rather stocked...er...fully loaded....

Ah, ha!

So!

You're the individual whose been soiling the liquor cabinets with Ralphs Brand Scotch. Guess I own 006 an apology. (I guess I thought he was responsible since he was chugging the stuff. Eeeooh).

Nasty stuff.

I've given the entire suppy of it to the techs in the garage level. They use it to clean engine parts. Q was thrilled. Actually saw him smile. (Hmmm, hope he didn't get too close to the stuff. Noxious fumes probably have the entire department flippin cartwheels)

And Tabasco?

I'm sure your a favorite whenever you tend bar, however, please, please, never mix those two items together, especially in a public place.

Any decent brand of scotch combined with a Mexican condiment could cause the most sever damage to the stomach lining of an any ordinary untrained civilian.

Then again, the boys in the tech department might just go for it....little devils - they love harsh cleaning chemicals.

Just as long as they drink the stuff.

Keep smilin'

We had a little left over and had a big party the other night, 004. The highlight had to be when Dr. Warmflash walked in only to find two techies doing dueling Elvis impersonations with thick Scottish accents. Unfortunately, the evening went downhill from there when a techie made made a crank call to M's house. Currently, he is being used as a tackling dummy for the Oxford rugby team. On another bad note, we're going to have to get your company car a new paint job. One of the techies got hammered and painted the words "This one aint' invisible!" on the hood.
