Just in from AutoBlog.com--this looks like a stunning successor to the DB7: The Aston Martin One-77.

Perhaps if the next Bond actor picks up where Roger Moore left off, he could drive this:

The 2009 Lotus Eagle

It actually looks like this and is called the Evora:

Oddly I can actually imagine Bond in this.

Actually, the car I posted is the Aston Martin One-77, which will make its debut at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The one you posted is the Aston Martin DB-ONE, which was designed and rendered by a freelance artist. :(

You know, I've always wondered ... could James Bond get away with driving a Ferrari? Sure, it's the world's most prestigious car manufacturer, bu they're instantly recogniseable and just don't quite seem to fit in with the feel of the films. True, we had the F355 in GoldenEye, but that as Xenia's car (or Trevalyan's), and apparently ony supplied to the film production if it would win the chase between it and the DB5.

But I think there may actually be one Ferrari that Bond could drive without it feeling out of place. Ladies and gentlemen, the 2009 Ferrari California

Here it is, my friends, the new Aston Martin One-77 in all its glory.

I don't expect I'm alone in thinking that this must be Bond's next ride. :(

The DBS with the touchtrontic gearbox WILL be the next Bond car. The DBS has now been established as Daniel Craig's Bond car and I suspect that they will stick with the DBS for as long as he is Bond. I believe all the One-77s have been pre-sold and, unless it has a brief cameo, Aston Martin can get nothing from it's inclusion as they can't sell anymore as they are all sold. Also, bythe time Bond 23 comes out he will have been forced to be drving a Mini Cooper diesel due to government cuts!

If Bond (God forbid) drives anything other than an Aston (come on, they are beautiful cars) they would throw back to Fleming and drive a modern Bentley.

To the One-77: The headlight design ruins the car for me. Sorry.

Lamborghini is :(, Ferrari is :)...

How about a Bentley or the Lotus Eagle.

I prefer Aston One-77 though.

I actually don't think Bond should have a fancy car at all in Bond 23. Up until the Brosnan years, we didn't have a car chase in every Bond movie.

I'm feeling the new Camaro in a dark grey for Bond, although for me I would prefer black :(

Aston Martin DB5
Aston Martin DBS
Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Bentley GT

Land Rover Range Rover

Jaguar XF

I'm inclined to agree that the BMW is the best one if he doesn't get a DBS.

By the way, which font is used in that logo?

Futura

I posted a thread with a similar logo in the "B23 & Beyond" forum a while back.

You are GENIOUS! I wonder why I didn't think about it all this time!

Imagine Craig with a grey three-piece coming out of the Aston like a second Connery!

this being one of them...

Aston Martin was recently sold by the Ford Motor Co. to a consortium led by Prodrive owner and racing magnate David Richards. In addition to putting the final touches on its upcoming Rapide grand touring 4-door sedan, the slick British automaker is marketing an extremely exclusive sports car that will be built entirely to order and custom-fit and trimmed to the taste of each buyer. The cost: a mere 1.2 million pounds (US$1.75 million). Only 77 of these cars will be built, hence the One-77 moniker. The low-slung coupe, built on a carbon-fiber monocoque structure with hand-shaped aluminum body panels, will reportedly be powered by a front-mounted 7.3-liter V12 engine that should develop more than 700 horsepower. Even at such a price, the One-77 is already sold out.
