Man, January cannot come fast enough.

I'm really pumped also by the details of books three and four....Young Bond in the Alps sounds very cool.

Anyone else read the Alex Rider books?

'Blood Fever' U.S. Hardcover Available for Pre-Order
Release date May 2006

Not sure how long this has been sitting on Amazon waiting to be discoverd. Amazon has the author listed as Charles Higson (not Charile) so my searches have not been turning this up. Decided to type in Blood Fever today and, bingo! :)

Excellent! Looks like this one beats SilverFin by 13 pages overall.

I'm really excited about this book, I have had my copy of the UK paperback on order since it was first listed on Amazon UK.

I'm waiting a bit to pre-order both in hopes that the prices will go down a few weeks/day before they are released.

I usually wait until the discount rate hit 30% or so and then I pre-order.

"slight changes" my ! Change it back. The original British version looks way better. Where's the skin-like surface? No no.. the Young Bond target logo with the name of the title looks way better than the red stripe.

Change it back :D

I'm gonna import anyway, I think.

---Amazon also has a higher-resolution image of it, FYI.

Maybe if there is a US proof, we'll see that cover just on that?

That's it, if there was any doubt about getting the Brit edition, it has been wiped.

I'll be getting both editions. Hopefully the US version won't have any cutting this time.
