The Matrix Revolutions - Far better than The Matrix Reloaded, that's for sure. I don't think people were prepared to accept the Wachowski's concept that we're supposed to sympathize with the machines, or for the ultra sci-fi feel that contrasted with the first two films.

Swordfish - A fun ride. Not anything great, but it's entertaining and Halle Berry is much better here than she is in DAD.

Troy - Very enjoyable MTV-generation take on Homer. Sure it's watered down and isn't all around a great film, but there's moments where this film shines (and most of them have Peter O'Toole in them). And you gotta love Eric Bana as Hector.

Entrapment - Sean Connery (my favorite actor) teams up with Catherine Zeta Jones (my favorite actress). You gotta love that star power combination, and I think they carry the film and make it watchable.

The Stepford Wives (remake) - I thought it was funny. Guess a lot of people disagreed.

Some of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's films have been trashed over the years (minus TERMINATOR, TOTAL RECALL, TRUE LIES and a few others). Here are some that have been underapreciated:

COMMANDO-A fun film! Lots of violence, action, pretty brainless sometimes, and the script is kinda hokey. But Ahhnold is so charismatic in this movie, you can forgive the film.

LAST ACTION HERO-Alright, it's not one of Arnold's best movies, but it's alright nonetheless. The writing is weak, and the film may be a bit stale most of the time, but Arnold, as always, saves it.

THE 6TH DAY-It got some flawed reviews, and the box-office was lackluster (so was was Arnold's career at that point), but I liked the film. Good action, special effects. Arnold and the clone are amusing together as well.

KINDERGARTEN COP-It had ok reviews, and good box-office fare. But there are some who forget about it. I can't forget Arnold's infamous line, "It's not a tuumer!"

Oh what a fun ride it is indeed. I love this movie. It has a fast plot, some good acting and surprises by Halle Berry, and the others as well. It's just plain fun.

Never really understood why some condemned this film. It's a fun and fast rollercoaster ride with those two big names. Good chemistry between them both.

I'm with you on that one, always a pleasure to watch.

I don't really have any that are seriously maligned, but I guess the Star Wars prequels might count for me (I don't think they're especially good, but are entertaining).

Guess I will throw in a agreed three.

It's a fun romp, even if with a simple storyline, it works. The kids are good.

This movie is actually one of those "'bad' films you think are actually quite good," ie: a guilty pleasure? :)

I can't see anything wrong with this and a lot of other movies mentioned here. Perhaps some mebers are getting bad novies mixed up in their good movies list?

I Could be wrong of course.

I kind of thought that also. Don't think it is either, I find it, as above, to be a rather good film.

Notting Hill.

I'm serious.

And also, I'm bloody well NOT guilty about it either! It's a damn fine film, and the best place to be when you're in love!

I don't know that that counts as a "guilty pleasure". It's darn good and was critically well received all around.

That may be so, Harmsway...but, I am a man, and it IS a Hugh Grant/Julia Roberts romantic comedy. Thus, guildy pleasure. :)

I have to admit I liked "Two Weeks Notice" with Grant and Sandra Bullock, they have good chemistry together. :)

Sandra Bullock seems to have been going better lately. Her appearance in Two Weeks Notice was indeed good. Kind of got in a slump with Speed 2: Cruise Control.

Bah, there's something that isn't even pleasureable to watch.

I fancy the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movies. They're my childhood favorites. Though the third entry kinda sucked at best in comparsion with the first two.

I agree. I actually went to see NOTTING HILL twice at the movie theater.

Either I grew up oblivious to that series, or I never got into it as a child.

Was forced to watch one with a younger cousin a while back.

Alright, so the Ninja Turtles movies aren't Oscar-calibar, but it's still fun IMO.

I liked "Freddy vs. Jason". I'm still wondering why it got mixed applause.

No of course not, I know that. I know they're a typical "fun" movie. Just how cheesy they can be, but that's often a fun movie.

I just wish they had not cut that car chase from ENTRAPMENT.

Entrapment pretty much works how it is. Even with those two stars in it, car chases no matter how exciting or different they may be, are very common.

The film works great as it is.

Yes, but they shot the car chase...it's on the special edition DVD and I am thinking - why cut it, it's fun. It also explains why the car is so messed up in the following scene.

I haven't seen the film in quite a while, so I'll remember to look for the car chase on the DVD, then see if my thoughts change.

The opening of it is really on the slow part. Once it gets going, it's a strong movie.
