For me Brosnan's best Bond film is The World Is Not Enough. I also think it may even be the best Bond film ever.

None, I don't like any of Brosnan's Bond films. I gave up on him after "Tommorrow Never Dies." He was a witty Remington Steele, but as Bond he tended to mumble, and play Moore lite. At least one could argue camp appeal for Moore but not Brosnan. He became merely a prop for more and more outrageous stunts.

I thought Brosnan's best performance was in TWINE. He seemed his most comfortable. (Curiously, I think 3rd time was a charm for Connery and Moore as well.)

Gotta vote Goldeneye though. Maybe it's the novelty or "comeback" factor of it that earned a place in my heart, but there is nothing about Goldeneye that bothers me. Maybe just that the pace is a little choppy. I can't go that easy on any of the next three. It's just pure fun. One of my top 5 Bond films.

Better make that top 7.

My fave is Goldeneye, which is one of the very best Bond films IMO, after OHMSS, FRWL, GF, DN, TB, LTK and TLD. Second Brosnan fave is TWINE, which I think is almost as good as Goldeneye. TND gets better each time I see it but it is less than the sum of its parts somehow. The first half of DAD is great, but the second half is truly awful.

Goldeneye and TND, but I like a little more Goldeneye because it's the first Bond movie I saw.

Okay! Here's the new guy posting to an old thread on my first post. Hmmm? These new guys!

1.Goldeneye
2.TWINE
3.DAD
4.TWINE).

Hey, I really enjoyed Goldeneye - but it was also my first Bond film ever - so I really didn't know what a "Bond" film was per se. I saw it in the theater when I was in college. Do I need to say any more?

With that said, I'm looking forward to seeing Craig as Bond (although I thought Brosnan definitely had at least one more in him).

Why "Daddy Bond"? Not 'cause I'm old, but because I have 5 kids. Wait, maybe that makes me old?

1. GE
2. TWINE
3. TND
4. DAD

i voted GE mainly cause ive played it a little too much on N64 and have some very fast single player times, it really is a great movie! sean bean was terrific 2!

TWINE gets very close to GE, they both have excellent starting scenes (jumping out of the building with a briefcase!! and the music puts tingles in my spine! haha)

TND used to be my fav pierce movie (one reason-its set in asia and i love asian culture, people, cars etc) and the 750i is cool and scenes sneaking around that building in Germany are awesome!

DAD i really did not like-i thought it was 2 much of an action movie (i hope casino royale will be better!), but it was in korea a bit, so its not rock bottom lol

I'm sure this has been pointed out, but as Brosnan's tenure progressed we liked each film less and less (GE 1st, TND 2nd...etc..). For Moore and Connery, we seem to like their middle films (TSWLM, FYEO, FRWL, GF, TB) the best. I've heard many theories to why it is different for Brosnan and I'm not sure which one I believe.

For me The World is Not Enough is his best, I think he captured the character of James Bond excellently in that film.

GoldenEye - it has that classic Bond feel, plus a great villain (Trevelyan), a sexy but psychotic Bond girl (Xenia), a fantastic title song, and the best title sequence ever. Natalya isn't one of the best women in the series, but she's okay. But more than that, the way that all of these, plus the requisite explosions, chases, and gunfights, come together makes it highly memorable.

I would currently rank The World Is Not Enough as second, but Tomorrow Never Dies is a very close third and may overtake it once I see the films again. As for Die Another Day, let's just not talk about it. Halle Berry - worst Bond girl ever.

Tomorrow Never Dies for me. GoldenEye, which I find somewhat overrated, second. Then The World is not Enough and Die Another Day.

It's the first of the 90's.
It's the first with Jack Wade and Valentin Zukovsky.
It's the first and the only one with a score by Eric Serra.
It's the first where we can see "M" as a woman.
It's the first and the best of the Brosnan's era.
It's Goldeneye.
