What do you both recommend worth viewing see that shows her acting chops well?

"Once Were Warriors." Directed by Lee Tamahori, starring Rena Owen & Temuera Morrison.

You will not be disappointed Glen- AT ALL!

Except that Denise Richards is pure visual eye candy and can't act her way out of a paper bag. (And it appears Charlie's getting sick of her already, but that's another story). Totally unbelievable as a Dr. or scientist. Nice rack, though. I'll give her that. I'm sure she has a receipt.

Britt Ekland was a cutie pie, and more of a traditional "adoring Bond girl".
When The Rog threw her in the closet and worked over Maud Adams instead was pretty funny.

But you know who I found very dull and unappealing? Lois Chiles. I mean, she had nice eyes, deep sultry voice, but the bod wasn't happening (zero curves) AND the acting was only slightly better than Tayna Roberts.

Yeah, Lois' acting range, at the time was near zero. She did her thing in the fight scenes though.

Yes, she did. Almost made up for her dry delivery.

I didn't note her having much of a stellar career after Moonraker (what else is new?), did she? I do recall watching "Creepshow 2" with my daughter on video and she was in a stupid but darkly hilarious piece called "The Hitchiker", where she played a wealthy woman who, in trying to beat her husband home from her affair, hits some bum looking man on a deserted road and he wouldn't let go of her car. He kept coming back and attached himself to her roof and hood and each time she rammed him, rolled over him or threw him off her car, there he was again. He finally does her in at the climax.

All he kept saying over and over was "Thanks For The Ride, Lady!".

Of course, all she did throughout the whole thing was scream. That segment has a cult following of sorts.

Last couple of times I saw her in anything (within the last 10 yrs.) she had aged considerably. Yet, she is only 55. I guess some actresses age better (and spend more on PS) than others.

No only do I stand her, I'd lie down with her. :)

BC, Absolutely. Me thinks that of the many who dissed her are secretly wishing they COULD have her in some way! ROTF!

I always understood and agreed withthe acting critique, just never the personal attacks by those who do no tknow this woman from Adam.

I'm with you-I'd "knock the boots"!
