I received news from the CTBF that I've been successful in the lottery.  Mrs. Tallon now gets a new dress, and, just in case, she'll be practicing her curtsey.

Fantastic! Congratulations.

Seems I have not been drawn in the ballot for tickets.

Should anyone with tickets, find they are not interested in going, please do let me know...!  (If you don't ask...)

I heard on UK BBC Radio 2 this morning from that moronic DJ Chris Evans that the advanced press screenings for 'SPECTRE' take place on Wednesday October 21st.

So he says, and of course has to bang on about how he has an invite but should he go to the advanced press screening or wait until "the rest of the world" on Monday.

Can't stand that guy.

BUT Weds 21st onwards we may get early reviews / reaction?

Yes, Evans is very annoying, but his info here will be spot on and he will have an invitation to this.

I'd expect people to Tweet as soon as they get out and some reviews will appear the next day.

The Evening Standard used to have this thing about "always" being the first in the world with the review of the new Bond film, they may even post something that night.

I seem to remember there being an embargo for SKYFALL which someone promptly broke immediately. I guess we may get loose reviews by the end of that week, and then a deluge on Sunday and Monday.

For Skyfall, the press screening was at the Odeon Leicester Square on Friday 12th October.

The first reviews (mainly) were in the press on Saturday the 13th.

That side, our old friend Baz at the Mail got his review posted on the very night, the 12th.

I was, years ago, and I sometimes still get invites. The SKYFALL press screening I was lucky to get in the last minute, and I hope I'll be able to repeat it with SPECTRE.

Yeesh, they didn't do a very good job of making Craig look good. That's the oldest he's ever looked.

Great prize, though.

It's good to see Craig cracking a smile with his Bond duties these days. First that Heineken ad, now this - maybe Roger's been coaching him!

Was going to post a list of all the Regional Gala Premieres in the UK but still can't get the Paste function to work on this forum, even with all the Options ticked and unticked.  No idea what, if anything, I am missing...

And writing them all out long hand....

Pretty damn charming though. Couldn't imagine him doing this 7 years ago.
