I don't think Bond specifically needs Comic Con, I just feel that since Skyfall was released it's gained a completely new legion of Bond fans and I'm sorry, but if Comic Con where to confirm a SPECTRE panel, with Daniel Craig, Lea Sedeoux, Dave Butista, Barbara Broccoli and Sam Mendes then it would be something I'm sure everyone on here would be excited about. (Probably an exclusive trailer, with a Q&A and maybe a other major news scoop. (title artist, video game or something).  I feel it's unfair to be in a mindset where SPECTRE is lowering it's standards by appearing at Comic Con because Bond is somehow 'too good for it'. At the end of the day, it would be great publicity and a very nice opportunity, especially for the fans that would go there from all parts of the world. It's a nice experience, and Comic Con is an exciting time for games, movies, comic books, tv shows. I don't feel it would be beneath Bond to get involved with that. They'll be finished shooting by July, It would be a perfect time to launch to publicity campaign over the summer. 

I totally agree on that.

Plus, I do not have the feeling that Sony is positioning Bond as a "premium" franchise any longer. Marketing is definitely adequate to a blockbuster / first-class action movie (like let's say Avengers or Mission Impossible) and being at the comic con is the perfect place to reach the core audience

Sure, but it's a fan forum: we're excited about some grainy footage of two sportscars driving thirty metres next to a river!

It would do no harm, but Bond isn't the sort of thing that appeals to a loyal fanbase like the superhero films have to- everyone likes Bond. I can't think of many other films that were front page news just for having a photocall on day one of filming recently. Is it worth their while to do Comic Con? Not sure.

I don't at all think that Bond is above comic con. It's more along the lines that it's a franchise that doesn't really lend itself well to that type of convention.

Newest info from the "other forum" is that it's up in the air between Friday and Saturday. Does anybody have any reliable information? Or are we merely quoting from the other site?

We're inching closer and closer to the teaser trailer!! My money is on that it will be out on Friday instead of Saturday.. and if it is released at 10:00am GMT, as ggl posted, I must make sure to set my alarm on my iPhone for 03:00am MST for me.. LOL

Friday would be much better. I'm not sure of teaser trailers that are released on a Saturday. I'm really looking forward to getting a glimpse of the footage, and Hoyte Van Hoytema's cinematography. I'm also 99.9% the Austrian action set piece will be in it.

I'm sure will have some sort of information regarding what time it'll be replaced on twitter be it today or tomorrow. If they've released a teaser poster for a teaser poster, then I'm sure they'll release a statement regarding the teaser trailer.

Good lord, I am jealous... I have a projector but the output quality is utter trash.
