I'm guessing they're background filler. If this is the location for the SPECTRE meeting, then they need many fancy automobiles (including Bond's DB10 and the Jaguar C-X75).

When they did the big extras casting in Bregenz, there was also a call for people to offer their luxury cars. They were needed as a backdrop for the opera arrival scenes. Might be something similar here.

Seeing him with DC a while back in a group picture....I just had this wild vision....what if Waltz isn't who we think he's cast as?

 

What if EON are pulling a total blinder and have Ernst Blofeld cast already, with Mark Strong in the role?

 

I don't know - just seeing him in London (when filming IS currently underway at Pinewood) I felt it could be possible?

Who else have people spotted? I've seen the beautiful ladies photographed above, Ralph Fiennes, Andrew Scott. I don't think I've seen Daniel, though he's probably filming at Blenheim Palace, nor Christoph Waltz or David Bautista.

One report from the Sony debacle suggested the studio wanted the production to find locations in the UK to replace those in Rome, and save a bit of cash. Blenheim Palace is presumably one such example where they managed it.

For what it's worth, I'd expect the actual filming to be taking place overnight.

I've heard Craig and Bautista, but not confirmed. If it's all car action, it could clearly just be stunt performers.
