As always, many, many thanks to our reporters!
Indeed. Good shots, these. They're all going down in the Bond history books, and no doubt we'll all be looking back upon this period in a year's time.

Not sure how to embed Vines on the forum, but here's a short video of Bond/Tanner going into the entrance:

Great photos. The white screen must be to recreate a central London, Thames backdrop before Bond/Tanner go through the 'secret' entrance.
It's probably just there to bounce the light.

I wouldn't have thought so. It will be in shot for everything with the actor's faces.

Great stuff. Good to see Bond rocking a dressing gown too.
The scene appears to be Bond looking out his window as Moneypenny walks away. Perhaps a private visit then. They are supposed to be friends after all.It could just be a break in filming and Craig is just looking out the window. Can't always read too much into pics.
There's a few other pictures floating around of a clatter board in front of Craig's face preparing for a take in exactly the same position. It looks like this could be the case. I'm liking the fact that we're seeing Bonds apartment again!
I have a feeling this will link into the Thames Stuff. Maybe Monepenny and Tanner turn up? Moneypenny leaves and Bond and Tanner go straight to MI6 via boat?

Maybe you're right. Although, I wouldn't have thought there was much point in shooting head-on shots of them on location if they're going to add the background in anyway. It would be easier to shoot it in the tank at Pinewood.

I don't think that white background is for CGI.
They don't use white, that bounce the light and is more difficult to change in post production.
They usually use green screens, or sometimes, especially in the past, blue screen.
Exactly the same way they did to make the mi6 explosion in Skyfall

There will be shots in multiple directions there, they want the light and water to match. But part of one of the backgrounds will be changed.

That is a well deserved finger to the press. Awesome.
I'd like to think that finger was also meant for the stupid Sony hackers as well... Great stuff!

Aw - that's spoilt the illusion of the blurred video - I thought he was only using the one finger

Why did they blur the video then? Still possible that this isn't the same moment as in the video.
Looks more like he orders two Heineken for himself and his pal Tanner.

That´s an english "up yours". An inverted V sign if you will. It´s been used in cinema famously by Mcqueen in the Le Mans ending, but one of the many and commonly repeated legends claims that it was a gesture made by longbowmen fighting the French during the Hundred Years´War.

As an American, I'm still baffled by why this is considered a vulgar gesture... Anyone care to help a friend out?

Well, as I said above. Longbowman teasing the French in the Hundred Years´War. When caught, they used to cut their two "trigger fingers". So, taunting them, they used to show them "the fingers". Hope that helped. And even that is somewhat of an historical legend. No confirmed truth about it. If you google it, I suppose you´ll find other explanations. Cheers.

Thanks, univex. I get the historical connotations and see the humor in it. Just curious when the meaning evolved into a basic "F$@# you" and the need to censor it at all...

Something to do with a worker at some point. Can´t seem to remember that particular tale. Things like this evolve gently through the ages
