Know it's been rumoured but Baz appears to have just confirmed on Twitter that Monica Bellucci will indeed be in BOND 24. Very interesting.

Too old? She's only 4 years older than Daniel Craig (who's 46 currently), so there really would be no problem to my mind.. Either way, it's great to have her FINALLY in a Bond..

Let's make one thing clear: Monica Bellucci is not just an actress. She's a goddess! If you asked me, I'd say that she may be whoever she wants to be in Bond film :).
Nevertheless, Bond girl part is the only missing puzzle (no solid rumours so far). I know that she was supposed to be British, but..

Good point, coco...and I wasn't trying to be critical by the way :) .. Yeah, wasn't Berenice Marlowe only about 27 or so when Craig was like 44 in Skyfall? and I believe Eva Green was only 25 in Casino Royale..

It's certainly been a while. 

 

I don't think that Bellucci will be a traditional Bond girl at all.  I think it's far more likely that she'll be playing, assuming other rumors turn out to be the case,

I was just about to post this. I'm all for it. People are usually wanting more age appropriate love interests for Bond. Remember A View to a Kill's situation?

Well I'll just wait until the announcement for any casting confirmations. It would be sort of an apology casting wouldn't it since Barbs and Co. blew it with Teri Hatcher in TND?  We would have really enjoyed the physical prime of Ms. Belluci back then (her acting is non-important). I haven't seen her in anything in cinema lately but this would be a surprise choice if this news is true.
