Cool.

Nice pic! Very Bond arrival, but, from a production standpoint, damn side quicker and easier than coming via car from an airport given the obvious heavy weather. The roads must be Hell.

So glad we are going to get Craig Bond in snow. This is going to be good.

I'd love to see Bond get tortured like he was in Icebreaker...he was dipped into freezing water. It seems like it would make sense with Mr White back in play.

I recall a Bond script, I honestly forget which one it was now, which featured Bond getting submerged in ice water and having flashbacks to past adventures and clinically dying. The villain restarted Bond's heart or something like that. Pretty brutal.

That's sort of hinted at in the Die Another Day MTS, with Bond's head getting aggressively submerged in that ice water just as Madonna's song starts. I don't know if any torture scene will be able to top the sheer brutality of Casino Royale's.

Yeah, it will be difficult. That scene had it all. Tension, desperation, humour and atmosphere. That's one of the sequences which sold me on Craig's acting ability and the general direction of the reboot. I think the Colonel Sun torture scene would give CR a run for its money though.

Filming POSSIBLY suspended due to weather conditions. We'll know for definite probably within the next hour...

"In the morning it was still "work in progress", because it was not clear whether it can be rotated at all today. But at 9 clock then left the hotel and most of the actors were ready prepared for the first sample. In the resort, a loud roar was heard, and this is likely to come from "explosions".

Whether today can be really turned now to decide by 10 clock, before that, there is still a meeting. On the set itself, it should be extremely windy, which complicates the work of the Department. Therefore it is obviously better to wait."

A live ticker from a Bond shooting, incredible...

Seems that they are really shooting right now, despite the bad weather (seems like the weather matches the script). There have been tests with the Plätte boat this morning, helicopters have been de-iced and are flying above the lake. No action scenes, no explosions planned at Altaussee (this has to be bogus, as they also say that Bond will be attacked by a hydroplane and flees by use of the boat). DC has arrived on set half an hour ago. Waltz won't be there, even though he'll be inside the Jagdhause Seewiese in the movie. Interior has been rebuilt in Pinewood, they say those scenes have already been shot (not certian if this is true). Shooting can only take place until 3 PM (which is in about 40 minutes), before it gets too dark...

I thought only Jesper Christensen (Mr White) will be in the house, not Waltz. Where did you get the info, that Waltz' character will be in the house?

There won't be any action scenes in Altaussee. That's the case. They already said this some months ago. It's only Bond in the boat in the lake approaching the house. Nothing else.

Schade eigentlich..."

I think that is incorrect, only Mr White is there as far as I know.

Indeed.

There should be three actors involved in the interior scenes.

Guess it was the usual tabloid guesswork, then, or the usual copy & paste. Most of todays articles are based on the same news agency report. Same sentences and quotes, sometimes a bit or two of (usually unimportant) extra information. Someone saw DC get into a "Ranch Rover" (sic!) and that sort of stuff.

ThIs one is a bit different:

In brief: No shooting possible this morning, because of heavy winds and snow (not good for boats and helicopters), difficult to get to the Jagdhaus Seewiese, but rehearsals seem to have taken place there (10AM this morning). More avalanche blastings throughout the day. Shooting starts tomorrow morning around 5AM (Jagdhaus proprietor has been advised to be there by 6AM). 15 boats of the fire brigade have been equipped with cameras. Contract detail: Altaussee must be in the final movie. Craig has been spotted giving autographs in front of the hotel around noon. Crew had lentil soup for lunch (crucial fact).

What I didn't know: NSNA's Largo, Klaus Maria Brandauer is a resident of Altaussee (his grandparents and mother come from there). But he refused to comment.

Just wonderful; hopefully we'll get cinematography to match 'Skyfall', and a sequence just as powerful as the Aston Martin driving through Scotland.

Apparently they are having to reshoot yesterday's filming, the weather is good today. Craig has been on set since 6.30.

This article mentions a dress rehearsal for the extras in Sölden today. They also report that there's going to be a photocall in Sölden (presumably at the IceQ restaurant) tomorrow, with DC, Lea Seydoux and Dave Bautista.

Also: unconfirmed rumors about some scenes getting shot in Kartitsch (village next to Obertilliach).

Great!! It's interesting that we'll get our first look at Bautista, presumably pretty much made up for his first encounter with 007.. I wonder what the poor general public will be in store for if Bond and Hinx are to square off at the ICE-Q restaurant? LOL..
