The cheesy Bond joke annoys me. Especially since it's not even a frickin Dalton film. Ignoring that, awesome

Well he's got
Spoiler
on his chest
Well no, he hasn't; but it is a new-style Time Lord symbol as seen in the TARDIS graphics and worn by the Time Lords in flashback in series 3.

Grew up with DW and still love it.I really enjoyed Planet of the Dead cant wait for The waters of Mars then DT's swansong with you know who returning why is everyone critical of everything in The New Doctor Who
It's my favourite show of all time, it has defined my life and it always will do. POTD was fine - not stellar.
BTW - I don't register a distinction between so-called "New" and "Old" Who personally - perhaps you do do - but when you think about it there's a big difference between criticism and outright hatred or just being a passive drone.
No need to be confused old chap - some people have opinions. That's what a forum is here for, afterall!!!
i wasn't around when dr who was on in its original hey day i grew up with the endless re runs on uk gold i bet people didn't whine as much when it was on in those days mind you they didn't have forums back then and am not an old chap probably younger than you
If this has been posted before, sorry.

There, I feel a little better. I would feel more better if this reunion special was part of a normal season. Why can't it be, eh?
Though my hunch is that this one is complete rubbish. The segment wouldn't include Matt Smith, so that is wrong for starters.

Even if it was true, I'd be surprised if they managed to get Big Tom in the same room as the others.
seems to have got fond of his time on doctor who again in recent years he's done a few bits for the DVDS

BBC denies 'Doctor Who' reunion reports
The BBC has denied speculation of an "all-Doctors reunion" for this year's Children In Need.
The Mirror claimed that all ten incarnations of The Doctor would appear together in a 15-minute episode to be shown as part of the annual telethon in November.
The special would see David Tennant's Doctor calling on his nine predecessors to help him find a missing piece of Time Lord apparatus. The actors who portrayed the first three Doctors - William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee - are all deceased but would be represented by archive footage.
The report also claimed that the special would mark the first appearance of Matt Smith as the Doctor, although Smith is not due to take over from Tennant in the titular role until early 2010.
A spokesman told the newspaper: "Nothing has been finalised yet, although there is discussion of a Children in Need Doctor Who special. It is too early to say what."

What are the odds that the Doctor will pop up in Children Of Earth?
Think about it...
An ENTIRE trailer is devoted to talking about The Doctor, which will be very bad on BBC's part, if he doesn't show up. Gwen specifically mentions the Doctor when he's had no much of a passing reference in Series 2.
RTD has written the last episode.
Plus, Digital Spy have seen the first 3 episodes, and not the last two, so something must happen.
Also, if they're going to all the trouble putting it on BBCONE, there must be some bigger reason for doing so, rather than just for the hell of it.

Not trying to dampening your enthusiasm, Harkers, but the last Christmas episode was entitled "the Next Doctor" and the next Doctor, er, wasn't in it. In fact, it had nothing to do with the next Doctor...

Who' movie to be confirmed at Comic-Con?
A Doctor Who movie starring David Tennant will be announced at the Comic-Con event later this month, according to reports.
Speculation is growing that the BBC will confirm the big screen version at the five-day convention, which is held in San Diego, California. Tennant will be attending alongside departing executive producer Russell T Davies.
Previously, Tennant has revealed that he has signed up for an unidentified "sci-fi project", while Davies has hinted that an announcement of a "special project" would be coming soon, telling Doctor Who Magazine: "News as and when, but I can promise, it's worth waiting for."
Tennant's Doctor will regenerate at the end of three Doctor Who specials, the last of which airs early next year. Matt Smith will then assume the lead role.
A spokesperson for BBC Films has previously confirmed that a script for a Who movie is "in development".

On other things, I'm a bit underwhelmed at the idea of a DW movie...
It really seems curious timing as (if it's made at all) it will arrive during Matt Smith's time as the Doctor. It was never a problem when Cushing made the two Dalek movies, because not only was his character human but Cushing had never been a TV Doctor and these were remakes of Hartnell stories anyway, so they are easily discounted from "canon." But with Tennant in the role it's a wholly different proposition...
It also makes you wonder what kind of a story line they might attempt...
A cinematic release is highly unlikely to be too strongly linked to TV continuity because general filmgoers (who would presumably make up the majority of viewers) would risk alienation if the movie requires too much backstory or info-dump (look at what happened with the McGann film).
My biggest concern is whether a Tennant movie would subtly undermine Smith in the role, not to mention the unprecedented liberty such a step takes with the continuity of the programme...
Time will tell of course, but maybe everyone just needs to let Tennant go.

It makes a marketing sense and a very crucial ploy to buoy up TORCHWOOD's debut on a five night special on BBC ONE on DOCTOR WHO and David Tennent. TORCHWOOD has got progressively better ratings over the years but it is still an unknown and untried quantity to the telly audiences.Torchwood: Children of Earth starts on Monday night, and after watching this trailer...

I can't say if Tennent is in this TORCHWOOD special, but I do know he is featuring in the new series of the SARAH JANE ADVENTURES.
SPOILER.Is it just me - but does anyone else note the similarities between the TORCHWOOD Children of Earth and THE QUATERMASS CONCLUSION? Admittedly I've only seen the TW trailer but it seems quite similar...

There is a feeling / insight that suggests the audience will not see Tennent regenerate into Matt Smith so as to not mentally draw a line for Tennent and disable him from doing a film.

I hope this isn't the case. I want to see Tennant regenerate, If not, it won't seem right. I want an gripping final two episodes, allowing audiences to say a proper goodbye to the 10th Doctor.
Whatever they do with Tennant after that is their buisiness, be it a movie or a spin off show. I love him, but I want to see him regenerate.

What have people thought of CHILDREN OF EARTH? I personally think it has been a resourceful tour de force of television fun. It hasn't been pitched too big, cleverly masks its budgetary concerns, has won its gamble of opening out the trio of characters lives and has been quite chilling.
It also hasn't tripped over itself to let in the new viewers. The first episode let newcomers in, but not at the expense of the faithful viewers persistance. It has been a great exercise in broadcasting. Like the similiarly structured CRIMINAL JUSTICE last year, the British public WILL watch every night if the writing and production values have some thought put into it. To paraphrase FIELD OF DREAMS, "If you write good drama, they will come".
