I have absolute faith that this will be shown on a channel that no bugger in the UK can get without subscribing to Elliott Carver's satellite empire.
Apparently Sky Atlantic is co-producing the series along with Showtime. Not sure what that means as far as who can watch the show in the UK, but there is a UK station co-producing the show.

Great image. Wonderful set and good looking cast. I didn't know Josh Hartnett is starring in it or that Rory Kinnear and Helen McCrory also have roles. That is 4 actors who've appeared in a Bond film, excellent!

Never heard of Penny Dreadful before. I read it's wikipedia page but that was about it. I just want to see Dalton, Green and Kinnear. Dalton looks great too.

This can't come soon enough for me. Anything with Eva Green pique's my interest, and the gothic nature of the material is a draw. And having Dalton and Green sharing screentime conjures too many possibilites in my head.

I'm very much anticipating Penny Dreadful as well. There's some great talent involved, plus it looks like Timothy Dalton might finally be getting a good role to take on that isn't just a guest spot or a small arc in an already established show.

Thanks for posting this. It was great to finally hear Dalton and Mendes speak about the project on camera. I haven't watched all of the production videos, so perhaps they already have, but this is the first time I remember hearing directly from them.
Can't wait for this show to finally arrive. Hopefully it's the beginning of a comeback of sorts for Dalton.

Had the absolute pleasure of meeting Billie Piper this weekend at Awesome Con in DC. Had the opportunity to ask her about the Bond talent in Penny Dreadful (although somehow forgot to mention Rory Kinnear). Someone recorded it and posted it on YouTube. Here is the link:

After watching this one, I've got to say, I'd still love to see EON make a one-off, Bond coming out of retirement film and have Dalton cast in it. Even at his age (and I know that there's some debate as to exactly what that is), he still looks like he could play Bond.
