I liked the Splinter Cell franchise because it was a great game of stealth, though Conviction was a transition to more or less a COD-style of action and I've since gave up on the franchise for straying too far off.

I felt Double Agent was the best when it came to stealth.

When it comes to stealth, Double Agent is my go to game. It's a pretty good story and I love the stealth element in the game. It's the last good Splinter Cell game for me.

For me, the go to Splinter Cell is Chaos Theory. It perfected what was done in (the admittedly excellent) first game and Pandora Tomorrow. The story was a top-notch techno-thriller, definitely worthy of the Clancy name. I wasn't a big fan of Double Agent, although the PS2/Xbox version was better than the PS3/360 version strangely. Conviction was a train wreck. I thought Blacklist was a great return to form and a much needed facelift for the franchise. I'm looking forward to the next one, although not as much as I am to the full Metal Gear Solid V.

I'm glad I didn't buy Blacklist, only because on Friday my 360 got the red rings of death. I'm not gonna bother getting it fixed, i'll just put the money towards a PS4. So I hooked up my PS2 and now I'm playing Nightfire.

Trailer for the Call of Duty, which looks absolutely......like the last 4 games. Le sigh. In other news, a trademark was filed last week for the cult classic series No One Lives Forever. This would be great as the 2 NOLFs are excellent spy-spoof FPSs. It may also lead to that third game, we've been waiting 12 years for. I'll never understand why we need a new Call of Duty every year and we till haven't gotten a proper No One Lives Forever 3 yet. (There was the spin-off Contract J.A.C.K., which was probably the one that killed any momentum for NOLF3, but let's not talk about that)

Microsoft finally saw the writing on the wall. They finally heard what we've all been saying for a long time now. On June 9th, Kinect dies.

Haha! Well that was a "revolutionary" feature then.
Hopefully the Xbox One will come down a bit more now to tempt me to get one and upgrade.

Kinect was the thing preventing me from it. That said, I still won't get one until Quantum Break arrives.

I just started replaying Bioshock last night. It's a brilliant game. I really forgot how much I loved the franchise before Infinite came along. I love that it's a creepy game but it's not too scary where I can't play it. Hearing the enemies screeching and not knowing where they are is absolutely terrifying. If anyone hasn't played this game, I recommend playing it at least once. It's brilliant and it got me into gaming.

Bioshock is amazing. The sequel wasn't too bad either. I loved the longevity of it, I once played it for eight hours straight and only got about halfway through.

I love Bioshock 1, but hated Bioshock 2. However, I still prefer Infinite the most.

Infinite in my opinion is the worst. It's not Rapture so how is it bioshock? Bioshock 2 was not horrible but it definitely wasn't as good as the first one.

I've never been able to get into the Bioshock games. Tried the first one and didn't much care for it. Watched someone else play the second one and it looked like more of the same. I still have the first one sitting on my shelf, so might give it another go at some point, but I wasn't overly impressed with it the first time around.

Taste's can change, so who knows? Maybe you'll enjoy it more the second time around.

I love Bioshock 1, don't get me wrong. Rapture is haunting and very atmospheric and I'll admit that, yes the gameplay is far better than in number 3. However, for me at least, Bioshock Infinite takes the cake. The story is bizarre and strangely concise and I just absolutely love the ending. Although, I cannot stand the DLC, which has cheapened Infinite's end, IMO.

I can understand why people don't like Bioshock. It's like how I never got into the Fallout series, wasn't my thing. No I played Infinite twice, I will not like it ever as much as the first one.
Though everyone likes what they like I am just not a fan of Infinite.

I spent countless hours on Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Brought gaming addiction to a whole new level for me until I discovered Far Cry 3

I'm not a huge gamer like most. I never bought any of the Call of Duty games, nor do I ever play online. Even with my 360 (before it took a dump last month) I only played as of recent, FarCry 3, NHL and Madden 13. Guess I'll just use my PS2 until I get the PS4 in September.

Yeah I don't do much online gaming anymore either. It's just I don't really have a lot of people to play games with since most of my guy friends have different games than I do. Plus people online can be really annoying.

That is true.... I just describe one word about online gaming: annoying. It sums it up perfectly.

The price drop, plus the death of the Kinect, plus new games including new exclusives, new Gold exclusives make the Xbox One totally worth buying, and that's not sarcasm. Will most likely get one in the summer with EA Sports UFC, as it isn't worth buying to play Titanfall.

I wouldn't mind getting the One. I only want the PS4 because it was cheaper. And I am fed up with Microsoft forcing me to shovel out money to fix the 360 because of their Red rings bullcrap. If that problem has been fixed, perhaps I'll reconsider come September.

I have heard that some people who bought Xbox One's had problems with their consoles.. I usually wait a couple years before I upgrade.

There are literally no problems with the Xbox One or the Slim 360 which I have had since it's launch in Summer 2010. If you still have the first gen 360, then I'm not sure what to say to you.

Yeah I still have the white brick from 2007. But I think I made up my mind and get the PS4. Since the Xbox one isn't backward compatible

Yeah my Xbox 360 has worked for a long time! I just have been hearing some reports on other forums that the Xbox One has been having issues.

The Xbox One will be backwards compatible in the future via cloud support.
