As I mentioned previously, I think the sound of "Adrenaline" is too eastern to fit in as part of the London sequence. I liked the idea of it being the music when Bond is polishing off the scorpion drink.
I'm quite interested in what the final track 30. "Adrenaline" could pertain to in the film.
I expect it's from the Whitehall attack. In an emergency situation adrenaline takes over. Mallory leaping into action, etc.
I believe you're right about that. Thanks!

"Deep Water" could relevantly describe the digger stunt, if the music in that sequence continues to where Bond falls from the bridge into deep water, and the bit sounds that sounds "The Enquiry" could be a recurring theme from later on in the cue. However, I reckon the titles are probably quite loose generally. The music in the latest clip sounds like "The Enquiry", with the same building brass clusters and prepared piano. Guess it shows that the titles of the album tracks probably have nothing to do with what they contain - hence "Deep Water" being for the digger stunt.
I was encouraged to see that the only reviews which mentioned the soundtrack referred to it positively.

The Hollywood Reporter review mentions that Newman's score allows for ample room for the Bond theme to make it's presence know, so I think that it's safe to say that for those of us who were worried about the lack of the Bond theme in those 30 second preview clips, we ain't heard nothing yet!!

At least one review--from Indiewire--didn't much care for the soundtrack.
Not really. It said it was strong, but didn't quite give the action setpieces enough exhilaration.

"Old Dog, New Tricks" sounds VERY promising.

At least two reviews have also referenced the expression and one said that the phrase is said by Eve.
Review extract:
"Brave new world,” 007 mutters grumpily, after his first encounter with a whizzy new Q (Ben Whishaw) who scarcely needs to shave yet. “Old dog, new tricks,” twinkles Naomie Harris’s sexy MI6 underling, her tone vaguely patronizing, as if teaching an elderly uncle how to send an email.

Breadcrumbs could be the 'Bond reveal' in the PTS?
Probably from a line of dialogue about clues to the missing drive.
Yep, I’d say the MI6 agent Ronson has left a deliberate trail so that Bond can find him, and subsequently the computer with the data, together with those who are trying to acquire it.
Deep cover perhaps.
My theory is that it plays as Bond and M leave London and go off-the-grid and head to Scotland. I believe the "breadcrumbs" could be a trail left by Bond to leave Silva to them for the final showdown.
I just don't think it's the PTS music, because not only does it not seem nearly bombastic or complete enough, the soundtrack seems to, for the most part anyway, be generally in chronological order.
I think...

Nice idea. If so, I'm guessing the full on Bond theme will accompany the DB5 roaring out of the storage garage.

I don't think "Breadcrumbs" is the gunbarrel music, as suggested in the other thread. The Bond theme is too short. I think that's more likely to be Bond laying a trail for Silva later in the film. Possibly from the scene where they collect the Aston Martin.

Yeah. And the score does seem to be in chronological order.This. It has to be.
Bond exiting the garage and driving like Bond does, ala with Solange in CR. Probably ending the scene and cue with a lingering shot of the car disappearing into the night.

Safe bet 'Breadcrumbs' has to do with the DB5, though. Yeah.

As I listen to it, I'm trying to envision the climax of the film. Silva is dead, but M has been caught in the crossfire. Bond, desperation and disbelief in his eyes, cradles M's bleeding, limp body in his arms, while she stares up at him; the strong, confident woman looking weaker than he's ever seen her before. Perhaps a silent tear or two running down her face.
Neither will speak. And, in her last moments, nothing between the two will need to be said.
And the movie ends with Bond gazing out at the London skyline, any sadness over M's passing covered up by the cool, collected mask of a Double O. Because soldiers, friends, will always fall, but the war carries on.
Well done, Mr. Newman

The Name's Bond... James Bond (Arnold) - Bond arrives at the casino in Macau
Original version (presumably meaning Monty Norman's) - Bond and M pick up the Aston Martin DB5
Breadcrumbs (Newman) - tbc

Thought something more sinister and atmospheric would suit that bit better (what with the weird glow of the dragons and fireworks), though what do I know? I haven't seen the film.
I wonder if the three minute mark in She's Mine signals the point where Bond and one of the bad guys tumble into the loch.
Either that or 0:48 into Deep Water (plus there's an ambient synth effect at 0:59 that suggests freezing water).

I'd imagined the opening of Komodo Dragon was it, actually. Apparently not.
