As mentioned in the other thread...no gunbarrel music? Or do you guys think it'll be part of track 1.
Part of track 1 most likely.
The most intriguing one for me is 'Mother'. Though those of us who have been wading knee-deep in spoilers probably have a good idea what that's about...

Jellyfish should be reffering to that shanghai fight scene with patrice ,You can see those neon lights in the background with the image of a jellyfish I believe
Great stuff. I feel like I know quite a bit about the film's plot, but some of those track names are still a mystery to me - Granborough Road? Jellyfish? Very interesting.

I'd be thoroughly surprised if, amongst 30 tracks and 77 minutes of music, they selectively omitted the gunbarrel score.
And lets not forget the soundtrack for TWINE doesn't even include the gunbarrel music.

I'll let QOS4EVER field that one (from the Newman thread):

Is this going to be another music score CD with no theme tune, I wonder? As in Casino Royale. Little snatches of the Chris Cornell theme were heard throughout, but no actual theme tune, which I thought was a tad disappointing, and it would be just as much this time around.
I wonder if they do it because [Sony] would rather make more money and have people spend extra to get the theme on a single. Rather than getting both the theme and the score in one place.

It's probably because they'd rather get as much of Newman's score onto than have any space taken up by the theme. 80 minutes is the maximum capacity for a CD, and at 77 minutes this one's just under it.

I hope Mother is just what M means to Bond not that she is anybody's mother(ie Silva). If that's the case I just got my first fear that Skyfall may have a little bit of a cheesy flavor. Hope I'm wrong!
"Luke........ sorry........ James/Raoul (delete whichever doesn't apply).......I am your.........Mother!!!" :-))

Probably both, I think. Never mind. At least I got the theme downloaded on Friday last. Doesn't often happen in the stately, Quantum financed Haines estate, but I've actually downloaded a number 1 hit record. Must be decades since I last bought a number 1.

How do you know that tracks are out of order? This could be the "creative" storytelling that was mentioned before...Too bad they're out of order.

Too bad they're out of order.
If the titles refer to the scenes the quotes are from, then they're out of order. It's a "listening experience" album, not complete and chronological (which would be a two CD release). That said, they could release bonus tracks on iTunes like they did with CASINO ROYALE.

Well, we know a Komodo Dragon was used for the film, but they could have used it just to make a cgi version - let´s hope not though.I'm liking the sound of track 13: Komodo Dragon. It's about time we had one of these in a Bond film (and I wonder if it's the genuine article).

Assuming it chomps on the chap Bond's fighting, unless there's some puppetry involved, it'll have to be at least partially done with CGI.
Very true. And the poisonous snap would take it´s time to kill, so...same thing. CGI composite? I sure hope it doesn´t end up like a giant komodo from the SciFi channel´s Komodo vs. Anaconda or something like that. Ideous productions, those.

How do you know for sure that it isn't flashbacks in the story? The last six Bond albums had tracks in chronological order. It seems a little bit strange to change that now.

Different composer, different style.
