It's not the best of the Bond posters, no, but it's far superior to everything EON has given us since then, with the exception of the CASINO ROYALE teaser.

Why do people have an issue with the QoS posters? They certainly look more professional than this one.

They definitely look more professional than the SKYFALL posters. I don't think they are particularly good, but they're miles better than any of the artwork we've seen for SKYFALL.

QoS teaser poster was great, I think. Bond's shadow on the dusty ground really managed to convey the overall modd of what we were about to see in the film.

If you're going to use the gun-barrel image, it should be at least be on a par with these: 1 , 2

Both of those are great, prefer the second one more, but I would love to see the Skyfall poster done very much like that.

Have you noticed that Tim's quite, y'know: fat in that one? :)

And the more you look at it the more boring it becomes. Look at that big exciting, er, lake. And Evil Whittaker with his little Koskov ventriloquists doll. With its huge gun penis.

Ahh, now sadly the 'gun penis' was always something I noticed - thank god it's not just my immaturity Mark!

Well I wasn't here to comment of Tim's - er - paunch :)

That's subjective, but I believe it has light-years more depth and conveys it's message in a clear and concise way, unlike a certain other poster. But then as I say - subjective.

With its huge gun penis.

Haha - I think the worst offender for that was the Brozzer shot (was it a TWINE promo?) where he holds the gun between his legs (did anyone say "extension"?). Can't find a jpeg of this anywhere now - love to see if again - if only for a giggle! Subtle it aint!

I really hope they're sitting on some kind of incredibly spectacular final poster, it seems like even from just watching the trailer there's a dozen iconic visuals to choose from in Skyfall. His arrival at the Floating Dragon Casino, for instance. It'd be a shame if that doesn't find its way into a poster somewhere, somehow. Also, he looks so overly airbrushed in some of the new posters (and the heinekin ad as well), luckily that doesn't look like the film itself has that problem.

Theatrical poster means it's the definitive. There *might* be some variations but I bet we'll have the US or UK one sheet versions throughout the world. Spain got the UK poster, Brazil and Italy the US version.

The definitive poster has not been released yet. All we got was:

- the teaser
- the character posters
- the "Bond lying and firing" poster
- the Craig "prom night" poster

The final poster will be released in October (as a PR person told me).

It would make more sense if that's the case. Even if the 'Bond Prom' poster (bwah ha hah ahha hah hah!!!!) was meant to be the final you'd kinda think that Mr. Craig and Sam Mendes would march themselves into the producers office and say, 'look, you and me and everyone in this room knows we've got a great film here, give it the proper poster it deserves like all the other classic Bonds!'

Glad to hear that there's due to be a final poster. Hopefully they've put all their creative energies into it and it can buck the downward trend of all the other posters released so far.

I think it's hard to say that all Skyfall posters so far haven't been clear and concise. There's not much else to them other than a picture of James Bond and a big '007' logo: I don't know how they could be more clear or concise

I think the very first one with the gun barrel is absolutely terrific, but it can't possibly end up being the best of the lot. There really is so much of the story we really still know nothing about, they're probably sitting on the final poster because it may be revealing.

Of course, there will still be those with their own ideas of what the final poster should look like who will be disappointed regardless of what EON produces.

Fortunately, not being a budding graphic artist of any kind meself, I will not be among them.

Roll on November!

The Everything or Nothing poster is quite good. Simple, but at least there's an effort to do something retro.

The documentary? Where's that? I haven't seen a poster.

I was basing it on composition of the latest Gun-barrel poster. It's dull, arkward and sorely lacking in any glamour/exotic stakes.

EON poster is great. Skyfall's first teaser was utterly perfect. Everything in between was a black mark on the history of Bond poster design. Rubbish.

That's really cool, I think. They should have based the Skyfall posters on this original style for the anniversary theme. Shame.. why couldn't they have used the same people who made this for the film??
