So... what do we think?

Seems to help us with rumours too...Bond falling into the water, seemingly unconscious? Silva walking away/to Skyfall Lodge on fire? The coffins?
I've just seen it once, here at work, so don't want to chinwag with so much going through my head about it - I need to do it with a decent video player at home, frame by frame with the volume high! Can't wait to read out theories...ohhhh happy days!!

Craig has a very confident look about him, which yes, he did have in the other two films. But this time around it comes off as a really cool kind of confidence, exactly the attitude Bond should have.
I must say though, the film looks to be pretty dark in tone, I'm finding it hard to believe what Craig says about the film being funnier.

Hmm...this teaser is going to throw up so many more questions and rumour. Great!

When the Skyfall title fades in and we hear that very distorted version of the Bond theme, and then Craig says his line. That just sends chills up my spine.

I believe you're correct with this, yes.I know..Bond looked very...TOO casual, the stubble. Maybe if he gets a bump on the noggin at the start of the film, or has leave of absence...or something...this is part of his return to MI6? To see if he is functioning correctly, thinking straight?

I'd say he loses his his mind after a fall from the train and ends up on a beach in a Turkish resort drinking a beer. Eventually he's found and returned to the UK but they need to reevaluate him.
Love the long shot of him jogging alone along the path in the park, Post Office Tower in the background between the trees. Very dark lit image that to me suggests Bond is a bit isolated at this juncture of the story.

Probably not in a teaser actually...just thinking out loud!

When the analyst says "Skyfall" and then Bond's face drops slightly (best acting by Craig in a short space of time) and we have a flash of Bond in shadow, there is a body slumped on the chair...is that just a random goon or anyone major?

I think this is important, I think that shot is there for a very particular reason – I don’t think that’s Bond with the gun – the body shape and movement look wrong for Craig.

It's like the 1.16 shot where there is an orange-tinted fight underwater...now to me I thought maybe it's at Skyfall Lodge, in a lake and the orange glow is from the fire.
It's obvious it's Craig being stangled, thanks to his hair and ear which are unmistakable, and that leaves the shaved headed goon doing it to him. Is this a random bad-guy? It can't be Silva because of the hair...or could it be? Hmm...Pussfeller noticed it and got me thinking even more now.

What strikes me though is the quality of the film in terms of shooting. It looks like Skyfall is going to have great photography. When Bond arrives at the casino on a boat the colors are immense. The same goes with the park scene in the beggining.

Ahh, good eye. I'll try freeze frame it to look better when I can. I can't tell who either are then from that quick shot...but I guess that's the point! It just looked like his Walther being held, and being what looks like the Lodge, thought it was Bond on the hunt. For a moment I thought we'd seen the first shot of Albert Finney..but it's not!

I notice that whoever is strangling Bond under the water is wearing some kind of uniform as I see epaulette's on the right shoulder.

I was also wondering about the body in the chair. Not sure who it could be at the moment. Need to study it a bit more closely.
Could it be a flashback to something that happened previously at Skyfall Lodge?

If you look very closely at about 0.53, you'll see that Albert Finney is in it. He's wearing a flat cap and has a big bushy beard.
That's Nicholas Woodeson playing the assessor.
I think that is Craig with the gun. That must be in Whitehall. Is that Tanner (dead?) in the chair?

Possibly, although I'm not sure the set dressing matches what we think the Lodge looks like. Given its placement in the trailer, I think it's intended to suggest that it refers to "Skyfall", but that could be misdirection. The man in the chair (not Tanner, I don't think) is dressed quite similarly to Bond, so perhaps he's another MI6 agent, who has just been found dead... It would make sense that this comes quite early in the film, I'd guess.Could it be a flashback to something that happened previously at Skyfall Lodge?

Maybe it's when Bond storms the Whitehall building? Silva's already got to the man before Bond.
Since it's cut with the 'Skyfall" question, my guess is that it's one of the men linked to the operation. Silva's picking them off one by one.

Yes, I'd say so. The set design there looks very similar to those stills of Craig in the corridor.

Yep, I'd say it's the same place. It's also in the trailer - a shadowy figure walks down the hallway until Craig's trademark blue eyes are shown in a sliver of light.
I strongly think this is the first scene of Skyfall - in Turkey, before the bike stuff.

I wonder if Craig can make firing a gun quickly look any more cool and casual than he does after the shot of Severine in Shanghai...I mean, how ace does he loo?

I agree. I think the film might open with Bond in the corridor and our introduction to him is the blue eyes stepping out of the shadow into the light. (Hopefully after a nice Istanbul panorama shot...)

Yes, that’s sort of what I was getting at.
Part of why I think this is, that in the production design video, there is a wall with a layout of the design concepts in order of how they will be seen in the film. At least, that’s what it looks like to me. There are a few sketches of a gloomy interior before the exterior market sequence.
The man slumped in the chair and Bond walking down the hall are both from this, I’d say.
And as I’ve e said before, the louvered shutters look more old-town Istanbul than Scottish mansion.
