Another 'brilliant' update from the 007: Legends Facebook account...

Wow. What a brilliant clue, Activision. It's obvious from this excellent clue that they're talking about NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN.
(Actually, it could be. It could be an adaptation of THUNDERBALL that isn't THUNDERBALL )

I don't think they have that much imagination to leave really brilliant clues like this, I'm afraid.
I don't think they are either. Pure sarcasm on my part.***
***unless I turn out to be correct, of course

Anxious to know what the next movie will be? We have another hint for you! Our next movie reveal for 007 Legends will not have Blofeld in it. Any guesses?
Why do they waste our time? Just reveal it, or don't. We're not all on the social network trending stage in our lives...oh, I forget, THAT'S who this shooter with the Bond name will be aimed at! Sorry!
*rant over!*

Hang on. I've just thought of something. Do EON now have the rights to Blofeld? I thought that was all tied up with McClory. So if he's in the games... He could very well make a film comeback.
EON got the rights to everything back in 2004 I think it was. They've owned Blofeld for a while now

Re-booted incarnations of Blofeld and Jaws for a Bond film? Yes please!

So if EON got the rights to Blofeld back in 2004 then they should've also gained the rights to SPECTRE, so why the hell did FRWL the game have octopus instead?!!??!!

because it was probably adapted before EON got the rights back. One of the official bond books does talk about this.

EDIT: now I think about it, Octopuss must've just been a decision EA made. The last mission in FRWL has the plot of Thunderball and Goldeneye Rogue Agenty features Blofeld. If the McClory estate still owned the Thunderball rights and all associated with it, they couldnt have done touched it with a ten foot barge pole.

One thing that baffles me is the timing of when to release this news about levels, etc. Tomorrow, there is the BIG reveal of the new multiplayer in Black Ops 2. I think that might slightly overshadow the 007 Legends news...

I've never been a fan of the COD games, but I know they stomp over any Bond games released along with them - it happened with 'GoldenEye Reloaded' on the XBox.

As for 'Die Another Day' - I see Graves and Zao present but god, that does look very generic shooter-ish. Bad guys in shades and tuxedos at night? Please...that's retro console stuff isn't it?!
Well, the trailer is shaping up ok, it's very Bond-like, I have to say with the elements we know and love from the films.
They say 2 more missions left to reveal - I take it that will be the possible 'Goldfinger' mission and the selected 'Skyfall' level?

Hopefully Robert Davi will be able to portray Sanchez and Carey Lowell as Pam to complete it too!

Having said that, we don't have any actual confirmation that GF is the fifth and final level (excluding the bonus SKYFALL mission), but all signs are pretty strongly pointing to it. I'd love if they surprised us with DR. NO.
