Bond on Bond by Roger Moore
http://debrief.comma...__fromsearch__1

New Fleming reprints this summer

EDIT: Now I find a 50th Anniversary topic already created which I could have posted in I suppose, oh well to late.

Found some images here on Amazon.co.uk for Bond books...not sure how decent they are of if they are TBA...as the 'For Our Eyes Only' Book has an unofficial image of Connery's Bond from 'NSNA'...random.

Check it out, and the links and have a look!

Cool stuff TheCasinoRoyale. I wonder what the details are on that Four Eyes Only Book. I was hoping that the 50th anniversary poster was going to the cover of the poster book but I'm not disappointed with what we got and they'll probably release the 50th anniversary poster to stores, right? Well I hope so anyany.

ALSO

I 'm quoting this from; What are you doing for the 50th Anniversary? Thank you Lazenbyland.

I forgot about the Barbican exhibition which I must get along to.

And of course George Lazenby brings out his autobiography.

Hopefully he'll be over to sign a few.

I wonder will there be an update on the James Bond Encyclopedia by John Cork and Collin Stutz with a foward by Michael G. Wilson (IF there was not one. I have not looked at mine for a while. I have the published one). Also an update to James Bond: The Secret World of 007.

Essential Bond: The:The Authorized Guide to the World of 007 by Lee Pfeiffer, I dout it will get an update at all. Since it was never upated after Tomorrow Never Dies

Last of all a Skyfall movie magazine or 50th Anniv. Bond magazine from Starlong., or have they stop doing that altogether after The World Is Not Enough.

Thanks for that heads-up S K Y F A L L - can't see it listed on the UK Amazon page though, which is a shame. Maybe it's a US/Canada only book?

Love the front cover image though - nice and simple and effective!

UK pre-order for '007: The James Bond Archives @ £135!

http://www.amazon.co...37006117&sr=8-1

Crikey - this must be some special book for that price!!! Even the recent well published, glossy and heavily detailed Bond books cost about £40...so this? This better be something...EPIC!

Nice one S K Y F A L L - the Bond FAQ looks good. I'm really going to have to make shelf space for these books, they look amazing.

Still in shock about the £135 one and what that will have in it!!

I like the cover for James Bond Unmasked the best.

But I might be slighty biased. The author originally wanted a collage of the actors with guns, which probably would have turned out like the FAQ book.

Somehow it does capture the characteristics of all these actors.

Although the Craig caricature is a bit mean IMO.

That book for 135 pounds sounds like it will be huge. The Fleming reprints just look awesome I hope they come out like that here in North America.

I'm thinking that the Bond on Bond cover is looking a little better and better now.

The movie poster cover, isn't that Connery from in FRWL? What's he doing at the beach in a suit?

I don't think that was ever done, Connery in a dinner jacket on the beach. This looks like a collage of FRWL Connery and original artwork of Andress' character. I'm not sure but I think Andress never actually did draw the knife or brandish it in this awkward manner.

That's what I thought..deffo a 'FRWL' Connery shot, and Andress? Well, Honey did brandish the knife when Bond started to walk to her on the beach ("Stay where you are!"), but her hair was wet and she held it out at hip level. We never saw her big blond locks until they were in Dr.No's hideout...so a bit mish-mashed, but the combination of what we think about in Honey's character.

Just a funny pairing for an image really!

I can only remember Andress pulling out her knife and Bond stopping her when Quarrel joins them.
Here is the FRWL poster I was talking about.

Maybe this was a re-print poster after the success of 'FRWL', when they showed double features maybe?

It certainly looks like a mix between two different sources, the lighting on the faces is quite different and I'm not sure it's the same artist to begin with.
