Ditto. I don't want a day-by-day progress report that culminates in knowing everything about the film before it even goes into post-production.

I miss the old days, when all we got was the occasional inaccurate nugget, and we longed for a forum such as this to keep us up-to-date.

Oh, wait...

Yeah, I remember those days. The most important nugget we got was shooting location. From location we could guess some things. Oh, Italian Alps...maybe a ski chase scene!

This just in: the German release date (October 29th) has been pushed back a week to November 5th, probably to coincide with most other territories.

According to some articles, the British release has been pushed back as well, and will now go out on the 6th November...

Spectre is due for UK release on 6 November 2015

Are the international release dates listed anywhere? I am guessing we will get the movie on either 26th November or 3rd December.

I wonder if they'll push the U.S. release date back a week or so. They did that with QOS.

Dec 3 would be nice. Haven't had a Bond film open that close to Christmas since TND.

Possible new logo?

HP-Spectre-logo.jpg

Just came across it on this article. Sort of prefer it. If it's just fan made then fair play to whoever made it.

Nothing of that sort. It's from the HP Envy 14 Spectre notebook:

Well, I am in need of a laptop so I might just pick it up.

Or spend about two grand and fix my custom build.

Searching Spectre logo in google images, that's one of the first results to come up. For a website that deals with Movie news as it's editorial, that is extremely poor research.

I think that logo was one of the first hits when I searched "spectre" when the title was released.

Did they add that wedge so the cars can drive up it smoothly or was that already there?

It was already part of the embankment, as far as I know.

When they start filming in Morocco.

When are they moving there?  And do I remember it correctly that shooting is to be wrapped in June?

I think they move to Morocco later this month, and shooting will wrap in London in late June or early July.

That´s one long shoot - December to July... man, no wonder they only attempt this every three years...

Definitely a lot of work goes into the overall production of a Bond film.

It's amazing how once filming ends in July, they'll have less than three months of post-production. Yet, they get the work done each and every time.

It will be a staggered plan though, which is to say, the Post Production doesn't start at the end of Production.  It will have already started.

Am sure the entire universe knows this so I am not claiming I'm coming out with the biggest news since the Royal Birth, but am sure rough edits of all that which is currently filmed will be edited.

True - editing goes on during production.  Still, especially with a production as complicated as a Bond film, the adding of so many more layers (sound, effects, score, additional looping) takes time and will result in horrendous deadlines.

I've seen a report mention early June and another saying mid June.

As I understand it, filming wraps early July.

They seem to be working flat out. I've seen on Twitter that a sound engineer who has recently visited Pinewood has heard part of Thomas Newman's score.

He's scoring already??

That doesn't say to me 'flat out'.  That says to me that they are planning and working ahead of schedule.  I always thought the scoring couldn't really be achieved until the beats of the editing had been completed, otherwise the composer would just be chasing his tail as the editing was altered.

Are you sure he's not referring to BRIDGE OF SPIES, or the source cue Newman wrote for the Day of the Dead parade?

Shark's likely right.

Although, even if Tom's not writing yet, it's reasonable to assume he might be temping an early cut with existing stuff. Depending whether or not said sound engineer is a Bond music aficianado like some of us (ahem), they might not know the difference.

The person in question seemed trustworthy and professional. They were confident it was Spectre.

But I don't know them, I was simply reporting it had been said by someone who seems legit.
