Sorry, if I could delete my message #59 I would. I have no plans to see Men In Black 3 just to see the SKYFALL Trailer. I can eat popcorn and have root beer for free at my Internet. SKYFALL is a must for me to see the movie theater November 9. Don't step on my foot.

I was planning on seeing Men in Black anyway (even though it looks kind of meh), so I'll be seeing the trailer on the big screen. With that said, it will absolutely appear online either before the film's release, or on the same day. I'm also putting money down that we will either get teasers on television programs such as:

OR, we'll get it in another language, like this:

^^^Those were the days, weren't they?

So yeah, expect it before the 25th. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw it the second week of May.

This is the earliest I have ever heard of a James Bond teaser trailer coming out. It must be so good that can't wait to release it either. I don't care what language I find the trailer in, I can't wait to see it. It would help if they could show the movie preview during The Amazing Spider-man and The Bourne Legacy.

You should be able to, if the time limit on editing posts hasn't expired, go back and press the "edit" button on your post (i'ts at the bottom of the message on the row with "quote" and "multiquote") and then delete it that way. :)

No worries man! Just be extra careful outside the spoiler section.

I'll probably see it with some friends and geek out when the trailer comes on screen, then leave the theater and drive home.

I thought this deserved it's own thread. Since we've had a few tweets about it today.

The trailer begins with the agent himself being interrogated under the eyes of the official M (Judi Dench) and Gareth Mallory (Ralph Fiennes). When asked about the mission "Skyfall," he answered only: "It's done." Then scenes of explosions in London, falling buildings in Shanghai and a funeral.

The same reporter who tweeted the report also tweeted that he interviewed Craig and Mara for the Dragon Tattoo DVD release today. This has appeared online. The reporter probably wouldn't lie about this. So, it's only a matter of time before we get the trailer. Discuss.

I think it clear that Skyfall has more than one meaning.....if M and Mallory is asking him about it. There was no indication of Shanghai building falling down something new?

Earlier, the teaser trailer was shown for the first time. Revealed by the scenes, "007 - Skyfall" James Bond will have a thirst for revenge for a series of attacks on British soil, culminating in the murder of several colleagues.

I stand by my earlier theory. In an homage to Fleming naming his Jamaican resort home after a WW II-era operation, Skyfall was a mission 007 code-named after his ancestral home (inverse!) which, ironically appears due to some plot contrivance in the film and probably acts as some sort of metaphorical parallelism between Bond's personal relationships, history, and the new mission at hand.

But, yeah. Wow if the teaser was shown today, and damnit, I wanna see it now. ;)

Interesting. If this all checks out, I'm amazed that they've officially shown the teaser more than a month before the full release. It's almost as if they're expecting it to leak. Very unlike their care over secrecy up to this point.

Sounds like strictly an industry crowd at a festival screening, though. Descriptions may eek out, certainly - but a full leak seems unlikely.

It's just infuriating that an apparently fully-mixed and cut version of the trailer exists, and they haven't released it. At this point, there's no downside.

Yes, this seems to be an industry only event and attendees aren't supposed to say anything about what they see. We won't here much more about this, and certainly don't expect to see a leaked version any time soon. Nevertheless, it's out there, and it's inbound. Extraordinary that word of the teaser has dropped sooner than the poster.

Gareth Mallory was listed on the leaked cast list, so that one checks out!

Hmm, if the tweet about Bardem being in the trailer as a silhouette is true, then this could perhaps be the minute thirty the CR one was. I wonder if these guys were treated to the whole thing.

"This means that Bond will have to drink a beer for the first time on film, much to the dismay of hardcore fans."

Certainly Bond and Felix shared a beer in Quantum, no?

Alas, I'm currently 30 minutes away from Cancun. If I had known about this, could have gone on a mission.......

David Walliams tweets about set visit.

"I had the best day out of all time at the set of the new Bond movie 'Skyfall' in Pinewood today..."

"The film looks stunning. I can't wait to see it in October."

Maybe he's seen the trailer, too? Or he could just be commenting on stuff he's seen filmed.

I love it when the press presumes to speak for 'hardcore' fans. Look around you on this message boards. We are the hardcore fans in question.

Is anyone particularly dismayed by the news of product placement?

We knew heavy product placement was coming for a long time. Hopefully they'll find a way to make it work, and maybe even poke some fun at it.

As a side note, the guy who posted those initial tweets has removed them...

I can honestly say that I have never - never - been particularly 'bothered' by any of the Bond product placement. It's always done subtly. Are we supposed to pretend 007 exists in a world free of brands and corporate imagery? When I see something made by Sony in a Bond film, I don't think, "DAMNIT, BACK TO REALITY!"

I think, "Wow, that's a nice laptop."

And this is nothing new. The old films are just as comparatively rife with it.

Heineken has featured in previous Bond movies, and it's been done very tastefully. Bond has experience of handling product placement so there's nothing to fear. The use of Apple computers in THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO was far more jarring than any Bond product placement.

Routine BS. At least two fans, somewhere in the world, will be annoyed by anything, so the press can truthfully claim that fans are "up in arms" about whatever story happens to be current. This is nothing compared to the Craig-not-Bond stuff.
