Bond turns sniper..
Skydiving moments in the Bond films...Bond and Felix skydiving into Felix's wedding after capturing Sanchez in LTK OR the HALO skydive in TND?

I can't in good conscience pick anything good out of LTK so definitely the HALO jump in TND.
Jim Harbaugh as the next 007 super villian (dressed in a black latex rubber suit)
or
Shannon Sharpe dubs Daniel Craig's voice in the next film!
Posted 04 February 2013 - 08:49 PM
Well that's certainly random!! We can't have Shannon voice DC, so sadly I got for Jim Harbaugh as the next villain!
Bond turns fisherman with the speargun
OR
Bond turns sniper again to Sanchez
??
Posted 05 February 2013 - 03:57 AM
Well that's certainly random!!
(Damn, it's been like 8 years since I've heard someone say that. )
Bond with the spear gun. He failed as a sniper in LTK.
For Bond 24:
No gunbarrel
OR
Gunbarrel at the end
?
Posted 05 February 2013 - 04:01 AM
what? i hate both of these options. I will have to go with at the end though.. if they took out the gun barrel I would be pissed!
Best LTK death?
Sanchez being lit on fire? or Dario being shredded?
Posted 05 February 2013 - 06:00 AM
Dario being shredded...
Le Chiffre from Casino Royale...Peter Lorre (1954), Orson Welles (1967) OR Mads Mikkelsen (2006) ??
Posted 05 February 2013 - 08:37 AM
Mads Mikkelsen.
In Skyfall, does Silva:
Win because M dies
OR
Lose because he dies
?
Posted 05 February 2013 - 09:46 AM
Well of course he loses because he dies. Don't all villains technically lose when they die anyway?
Bond Film that feels the most dated now:
LALD
OR
Goldfinger?
Posted 05 February 2013 - 09:51 AM
Good one...hm, I feel he loses because he dies. Granted, I feel he would sacrifice himself for his mission BUT I don't think he wanted to die at the hands of Bond and without managing to kill M himself under his own hand for his own reason. Quite a damaged man our Silva!

Whoops!
Erm, anyway, Alec and Bond on the cradle. Fantastic scene, and it's exciting every time, though the facility gunfight was excellent in its own right.
I'll post a new this or that when you reply to mine.

Ah sorry Major! Missed your reply/question - in response to yours, I go for 'Live And Let Die', which I like far more than 'Goldfinger' but I feel you can really feel the blaxploitation 70s vibe through the film with the fashion, music and locations which stand-out so much more than 'Goldfinger's 60s attire which isn't as in your face.

Bond unleashing hell at the Terrorist Supermarket..
The most undignified moment for Bond in Octopussy...commanding the tiger to SIT!! OR Swinging on the vines and screaming like Tarzan??
Posted 05 February 2013 - 07:48 PM
Oh dear, it has to be the Tarzan yell - no need to add that SFX!

Yea, this happens a lot. Anyhoo....
Bond battles the helicopter on the Caspian. One of my favorite sequences in the whole film.
In Skyfall does Bond:
Succeed in his mission for killing Silva
OR
Fail his mission in letting M die
?

You just copied exactly what you put in your earlier post!

Bond battles through the mine field. Great action sequence.
Casting choices:
Dalton to reprise Bond another three times after LTK
OR
Donald Pleasance to reprise the role of Blofeld in OHMSS?
Posted 06 February 2013 - 09:48 AM
Sorry seawolf - I thought it was the same question!! Let me go back and say I feel he did succeed his mission of killing Silva before he killed M and brought down MI6, but at the same time suffered major collateral damage with M being caught in the crossfire, almost with the lucky shot that fatally wounded her, so I can't see he failed, but he certainly suffered a big loss.
For your question Major, no hesitation in having Dalton back as Bond for 3 times. If only...

Bond escaping the embassy with Mollaka...
Which was cheesier....the Broadway-show tune version of "Nobody Does it Better" at the end of The Spy Who Loved Me OR the disco version of "Moonraker" at the end of Moonraker?
Posted 06 February 2013 - 06:10 PM
The disco version of Moonraker.
Better ending:
Bond sneaking into Kara's dressing room in TLD
OR
Bond jumping over the balcony into the pool for Pam in LTK
?
Posted 06 February 2013 - 06:55 PM
That disco version of 'Moonraker' was bloody amazing! How can you pick that over that embarrasing sailor rendition of 'TSWLM'.... aggh! *rant over*
Best ending? Bond jumping over the balcony into the pool - a neat little stunt to end the film!
Bond chases Mitchell across Sienna
OR
Bond storms Perla de las Dunas
??
Posted 06 February 2013 - 08:19 PM
Bond chases Mitchell, baby.
Better Bond Director:
Guy Hamilton
OR
Terence Young?

Because I hate the Moonraker theme, that's why.
Terence Young.
better ending 2:
Bond carrying Natalya to the chopper, while she laughs and protests in GE
OR
Bond and Domino take a ride on the Sky Hook in TB
?
Posted 07 February 2013 - 08:32 AM
Bond and Domino take a ride on the Sky Hook in 'Thunderball' - big, loud and very bombastic use of the Bond theme with a great stunt. The 'GoldenEye' ending's a little too "Live Happily Ever After" for me.
Posted 07 February 2013 - 05:30 PM
Bond and Eve chasing Patrice through the Istanbul marketplace is my favorite!
Bond "secondary-theme songs"...K.D. Lang's "Surrender" from Tomorrow Never Dies OR "If There Was A Man" by The Pretenders in The Living Daylights?
Posted 07 February 2013 - 06:28 PM
"Surrender." No contest. Really, it should be the main theme.
Better ending 3:
Bond and Kissy in the raft with the submarine surfacing beneath them in YOLT
OR
Bond telling his superiors he's "keeping the British end up" with Anya in TSWLM
?
Posted 07 February 2013 - 11:02 PM
The classic keeping up of the British end I think! Great Moore fun.
The best action scenes in the Bond films are..
One on one / fist fights / combat
OR
Gun battle
??
Posted 08 February 2013 - 02:00 AM
Tough one because it's hard to lump them all together, but I'll go with the gun fights.
Head of Quantum, should it be a:
Man
OR
Woman
?
