Die Another Day. I really like the hovercraft chase and the PTS is definitely one of the highlights of that film.

Diamonds Are Forever. Do you think-

Connery performed as well as he could and it's the script that makes it fail

OR

It feels more like a Roger Moore Bond film and Moore could've improved it slightly if they had cast him

I think Connery performed as well as he could, and it was a script issue that wasn't to standard. It was fun, but Connery was doing the motions I feel.

Bond vs. Greene. I thought Greene put up a good, if futile, fight.

You Only Live Twice. Do you-

Like it the way it is with the Volcano lair being a classic Bond set piece

OR

No, it should've followed the plot of the novel

Volcano all the way. It means that the Garden of Death could still appear some day.

Tanya Roberts as Stacey Sutton or Denise Richards as Christmas Jones?

Be honest now.

HONESTLY....counting all things you do for a Bond girl like looks, personality, looks, use in the field, annoyance, looks....I have to go for Christmas Jones. I don't find her as annoying as Stacey, and she's a little easier on the eye, but I turn off when she opens her mouth.

The fight on the train. Anytime a train is involved, the scene is ten times better.

Have to say it would have been to graphic for Moore's debut and may not have made his run as fun as it was, so it was saved perfectly for Dalton IMO.

Hands down, Bond shooting Prof. Dent..just classic Fleming!

Which works or worked better for you in terms of kicking off a Bond film...seeing the United Artists logo, seeing the MGM Lion roar logo OR seeing the Columbia/Sony statue lady logo before the film begins?

The barrel roll.

For Your Eyes Only. Is it-

One of the better ones and a return to form after the bizarre and ridiculous Moonraker

OR

Overrated because it is a more realistic film after the aforementioned Moonraker

Goldeneye bungee Jump—seemed to be much more cooler, from what Bond was wearing, to the score.

GOLDENEYE'S gunbarrel

GOLDFINGER'S gunbarrel?

Goldfinger's gunbarrel.

Goldeneye. Is it-

A great film in its own right

OR

Overrated for the long gap between it and LTK and much of the praise for the film comes from praise for the game

Hmm...I feel it does drag in places. It's a very good film, not great....so I think it's over-rated, just praise coming for the return of Bond himself in any guise. Almost like 'Casino Royale' now being seen as good, but not great and also over-rated.

Has to be 'Dr.No' - iconic and really uses the country to full potential.

Probably the US Army against Goldfinger's troops. Although neither are particularly great.

Goldeneye's one. Brilliant, if a bit, er, bizarre with Bond magically able to get in the plane before it crashes, and steer it back up again.

Best Old School Villain:

Goldfinger

OR

Blofeld

What were you answering Major! :)

Yours has to be Blofeld - the stuff of iconic villains with the simple suit, the scar and the cat. It's hard to picture a classic super villain without thinking of him!

Bond vs. Largo on the beach, because I like the whole beach scene a lot, probably my favourite of the movie, and because I find the underwater scenes (final battle included) so boring.

The World Is Not Enough PTS:

Is it too long (it means the song would play after the Spain scene and before Thames' chase)?

or

It's perfect as it is?

I think it's a great sequence but think it does go too long for a PTS - I think it would have been a great little action sequence and stunt work just in Bilbao with a blistering opening theme and THEN throw us striaght into the chase rather than almost peak too soon for a longer first half of the film.

Bond on ice. Always liked that scene and the assault on Piz Gloria is one of my all-time favorite scenes from the Bond series.

Skyfall. Will it-

Stay loved and adored even after all the hype dies down

OR

People will turn on it and become critical as happens with a number of (and some undeservedly so) high-profile films *cough* Titanic *cough*

Combo pack, if there is one, since I got the Bond 50 BluRay set for Christmas and already have the UE DVDs.

Otherwise, BluRay first, then DVD when the price goes down.
