Dr. Kananga's plot to flood America with cheap drugs...yawn! Like that idea hasn't been done a million other times in countless movies..

Will the return of James Bond in "Skyfall" be more of a..: A welcome return for those casual fans who may have lost faith in the franchise after "Quantum of Solace" - situation OR a - who the hell cares, James Bond is back on the big screen and it's ALWAYS a win-win situation when that happens ?

What are you looking forward to seeing most from the 'Skyfall' trailers play out on screen...

I'm REALLY stoked to see the London attacks and Tube chase sequences... Should be great!

Whispers are starting to float in from various sources, from what I've seen on other threads, that the running time for Skyfall will be approx 2 hrs and 30 mins.. Does this: EXCITE you greatly because it means there'll be that much more of Bond to enjoy in the cinema OR is 2 hrs and 30 mins TOO LONG for a Bond film?

EXCITE you greatly because it means there'll be that much more of Bond to enjoy in the cinema. It would be the longest running Bond yet, but with the talent on and off screen, I can't see it dragging and probably leaving us wanting even more!

Which James Bond film bores you most, and doesn't really hook you...

'The Living Daylights'

OR

'GoldenEye'

Neither of these but since TLD excites me more I'll say GE of those two.

Bond and Holly in the stopped cable car in MR

or

Bond and Stacy in the burning elevator in AVTAK?

Bond and Holly in the stuck cable car in MR...even the fact that the car was rocking back and forth made it that much more nail-biting for me. Add to that that Holly did NOT continually shriek "James!! Help me!!" as Stacy Sutton did. lol..

Ernst Stavro Blofeld...which actor do you think portrayed the character best, and we'll leave out the semi-portrayals (i.e. Anthony Dawson and Eric Pohlman in FRWL and TB, or the bloke who played the paralyzed Blofeld in FYEO): Donald Pleasence, Telly Savalas OR Charles Gray??

Telly Savalas didn't do much for me, and Charles Gray did a great job I think, a much more likeable villain with some actual character to him - but for nostalgia, and encompassing a cold-hearted villain with a decent scar and bald head, I have to tip my hat to Donald Pleasence.

Who was the biggest casting mistake in 'Die Another Day':

John Cleese as Q

Michael Madsen as Damian Falco

Cleese is harder to watch. Falco was written as an unsympathetic D-bag, which plays to Madsen's strengths. But with Cleese, we're getting into "Groucho in a wheelchair" territory. Embarrassing and painful. Speaking of which, if Blofeld had a gun to your head, would you prefer...

Irma Bunt on a bearskin rug

*shudder*

On that note... you get to wine and dine and possibly spend the evening with which Bond girl...

Which Bond gadget would you LOVE to get your hands on and try out more: The Wet Nellie Submarine from The Spy Who Loved Me OR Bonds Cell phone-controlled BMW from Tomorrow Never Dies?

I would have to go with the wet Nellie I can't imagine getting much use out of the BMW gadgets compared to going under water for a tour of the seabed. Tough one.

Staying in line with the gadgets; which would you rather have: Little Nellie (YOLT) OR Q's fishing boat (TWINE) ?

Ooh...at a pinch, I'd say the music as I really hope the James Bond theme makes a return for Daniel Craig's era.

If the Skyfall soundtrack turned out to be amazing would you rather Thomas Newman stay on board for Bond24 or David Arnold return?

If it works, I'll happily welcome Thomas Newman's return. David Arnold worked for his run of films, so if Newman nails it then let him develop with the films.

What is the most enduring thing about James Bond films for you to revisit them time and time again...

The familiar characters, almost like being in the company of friends and people you know well who you can depend on for a couple of hours

OR

The fantastical stories that take you away from the mundane and transport you around the world, full of events and missions that emit sheer excitement

Gotta be The Fantastical Stories which transport you away from the hum-drum of everyday reality life.. A Bond film always cheers me up whenever it's been a dull or rotten week.

Global James Bond Day (Oct. 5th, 2012): Got any Bond-related events planned in advance to celebrate the day OR I'll come up with something on the day itself?
(for me, I know I'll at least be viewing Dr. No in honor of it being 50 years TO THE DAY that the film was released..)

I think I'll come up with something on the day itself - as you say, maybe I'll raise a glass to 'Dr.No' for the 50th year. Wow...50 years, that's crazy! Cheers, 007!

If the James Bond film series ended after 'Skyfall', going out on a high, would you...

Really suffer from having no new James Bond developments in your life and actually have it hit you hard there will be nothing new anymore

OR

Get over it a few months after the announcement, and just live off the DVDs and games etc

I'd really, and I mean REALLY suffer from having no more new Bonds in my life...LOL

With the new batch of Skyfall photos released from Empire magazine, do you: Feel like an 8 year old waking up on Christmas morning to see that Santa did indeed arrive or is your excitement maxed out at this point, as in "Enough pics...lets have the damn film already??"

Better final battle:

U.S. Navy frogmen versus SPECTRE frogmen underwater in Thunderball

or

U.S. Astronauts versus Drax's astronauts in outer space in Moonraker?

It's not my favourite battle, but I do think the U.S. Navy frogmen versus SPECTRE frogmen underwater in 'Thunderball' is quite good, well shot and brutal!

What car chase is the best from a James Bond film:

James Bond and J.W Pepper chasing Francisco Scaramanga and Nick Nack in 'The Man With The Golden Gun'

OR

Jaws chasing James Bond and Anya Amasova in 'The Spy Who Loved Me'

Speculate...which sequence do you think we'll get the Bond theme full blast....The London chase sequence with the crashing of the Tube train OR the Pre-titles sequence in Istanbul?

I'm hoping that it will be sooner rather than later for pure Bond mayhem and be the Pre-titles sequence in Istanbul...plenty of moments for the theme - bikes, trains, diggers...!

Which debut film has the best use of the James Bond theme in certain moments...

'Live And Let Die' - Tailing Mr.Big in Harlem / Escaping Kananga's drug facility

OR

'The Living Daylights' - Rock of Gibralter battle / Cello escape

??
