I'd be happy with that one.

Risico is bound to be a Bond title in the future. And although some might think For Queen & Country sounds a bit generic, I like it. (So was the title OHMSS, saying nothing about the film.)
And if they should use For Queen And Country, do you think they should spell "And" or "&"?
Posted 11 December 2012 - 09:29 AM
They should use "And" not "&". Either way, I don't think it would used for a title.

I love it. We could also go with the direct quote, The Man Who Cannot Die.

Especially if it's a Blofeld or Quantum (both?) based story. And if not, I'm still all for it. It just sounds Bond-ish.

"UPDATED"! I love it!!
I'm a big fan of SHATTERHAND as a title. Mysterious, feels powerful. That's my number one choice. (Get it? Shatterhand? Blofeld?Number One? Never mind...)

NEW YORK OPERATIVE or OPERATION NEW YORK : Inspired by '007 In New York.'
I think "A New York Minute" could work in place of "007 in New York." Shatterhand is a no-brainer, but I see that as more likely being the title of Bond 25. The Property of a Lady is probably the best Fleming title left as well.

I would actually like it if they used some of the titles from the old videogames. This probably isn't going to happen, but it would be cool, because some of those games have cool titles. Like Nightfire and Blood Stone. Those two are very "Daniel Craig-ish" titles.

Risico

Right now I think the best of all the suggested titles are, in fact, Risico and Golden Dragon. Both suggest a plot elemnent and sound cool. I'm looking forward to 2013 to find out.
And, although this is off-topic; happy New Year to everybody!

Everything or Nothing
Shaken Not Stirred
Risico
Property of a Lady
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a 2005 crime/comedy starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Val Kilmer.
Everything Or Nothing, I couldn't imagine being used because its already has been a video game and documentary.
I hope they will use the other Fleming titles not used yet and I'm sure they will eventually.

- The Property of a Lady / + use the payoff at the auction and the name Maria Freudenstein + some Jewish plot elements)
- For Special Services / inscription in Fleming's gun - if only John Gardner didn't use this one for his books - or could be the title of the Fleming biopic
- For Queen and Country /like Licence to Kill, used frequently as a spy phrase
- Shatterhand
- Shamelady
- Everything or Nothing
- Shaken Not Stirred
- The Girl with the Esmerald Eyes /based on TMWTGG - need to have a wealthy quality about it unlike The Man with the Red Tattoo.
or something entirely new

The Sun Never Sets
Pussfeller had this in his Bond timeline in another post:
http://debrief.comma...bond-time-line/
and I really think it's cool. It's English, it's got a twist, very Fleming in my opinion.

I don't know how this will be titled - will it emit a sheer Fleming-vibe, as Daniel Craig's films have done, or something more original and almost generic with key words like 'Death', 'Gold', 'World' or 'Die' thrown in?
Posted 14 January 2013 - 02:29 PM
I loved Skyfall but I wish they had stayed with all Fleming titles for Craig's era.
