I'm a little disappointed, but titles never got me down, before; here's hoping to a great Bond film!

Damn! Reading the plot synopsis I would have thought Property of a Lady would have been a better title. Skyfall just sounds like a B-grade sci-fi movie. Oh well... crap title, great film?

to be honest I can see why you would think that and I would to but to considering the beat down over the last Fleming title I can see why bond 23 is an original title that said Skyfall might fit much better then The Property of a lady.

I assume Daniel will definitely be shaving. As for the hair, yeah, it's really short, but I think it's close to what it looked like at the beginning of Royale. Can't wait for the first production stills.

Yea, it's just stubble. If DC is anything like me he'll have been waiting a little to shave right before shooting starts to let his skin rest. I am no good with shaving too regularly, and especially wouldn't wish to have to do that before being on camera.

So I guess that rules out the rumors about Mr. White and that the organization of Quantum will be back? Or are they hiding something?

Either way I'm excited. I already watched CR twice this week. It's time for a Bond marathon...speaking of which, I wonder if there is a Thanksgiving Bondathon...

This was one time that the rumours about the title proved to be true, unlike Beyond the Ice, which was announced as Die Another Day. I wish the title were a surprise and not an anti climax.

I thought it was a ruse but I also thought there might be some truth because the name QoS was revealed via domain name purchases in early 2008.

Didn't see the Ben Whishaw casting coming. He previously has played in Layer Cake and Enduring Love with Craig.

He was briefly rumorued for a part, along with Rhys Ifans, but the rumours were written off as someone getting their wires crossed and misattributing a quote to Sam Mendes in a place - ComicCon - where Mendes was known not to have been.

Great, I've been waiting for deadline to pick this up. That's virtually the same budget as Quantum. As I said in another thread, with the limited number of locales this time around, that budget bodes well for the scope of the film. Here's to hoping this will be a Bond epic.

SKYFALL, while still sounding a bit generic to me, at least rolls over the tongue quite nicely. Short. Clear. Dramatic.

I still think that Bardem as a villain is not the most original idea - but let´s wait until we see him. I expect Mendes to do a brillliant job.

I was hoping for a bit more information from this press conference - but it´s probably too early for that.

The plot synopsis does not really excite me yet - I would have liked to have a story without the personal attachment. I wonder why QUANTUM is not part of this film after having been established so well in the two previous films. However, I do like the idea of a stand-alone film.

Feel a bit disappointed that most of the rumors have become true - that´ll teach me to be so critical next time ;-)

All in all, it´s great to see BOND 23 - sorry - to see SKYFALL starts shooting after the awful delays. A year from now we will be able to see whether this will be Craig´s GF or TSWLM.

Yup, and hopefully we'll get a film along the 2+ hour-mark. Quantum was just so damn short.
