I can't conceive of anyone objecting to the message - perhaps to some of the minutiae on the EQUAL website like this guff about a woman's right to an iPod playlist, but not to the message of this ad, especially as presented here by Dame Judi in her inimitable style. Having said that, I don't really see how Daniel Craig in a frock - or indeed, seeing him stoic and silent in his suit in the first half of the ad - contributes much to the message. It doesn't damage the Bond brand (if anything their decision to contribute to this cause speaks well of them) but it's no great victory for feminism either. Perhaps this would have worked better as a radio ad.
And is it me, or does dolled-up Craig look like Felicity Huffman?
