Does anyone know if the PS3 version of 007 - Blood Stone will feature the possibilty of using the PlayStation Move?

They haven't said anything. I seriously doubt it though.

This game is looking great. I eat everything negative I'd said about it to date.

Pretty interesting stuff! Looks a lot fresher, as well. Maybe it's because we don't have that Bond theme blasting out at us.

That particular version of the Bond theme has definitely grown a bit tired. I'd rather hear ParodiFair's again at this point. Would it really have been too much trouble to have Mr. Jacques re-synth a new one?

Agreed. BTW, I think it's about time we have a new ParodiFairsesque kind of theme.

Just something that evokes some emotion, rather than a perfunctory statement of 'generic Bond theme background' would be nice.

When I hear the Norman/Barry original, I think - retro, cool, Bond in his prime. How badass that tune must have seemed in the day.

When I hear ParodiFair's, I hear a contemporary energy mixed with nostalgia - the key to well-branded Bond. The opening bars are mysterious but familiar, a hint of what's coming. Then when the guitar riff hits, it HITS. Just makes you stand up and want to go "Yes, James Bond." It's a sound that says Bond brings furious action layered with "cool". A promise of a worthy experience.

Moby's feels a bit repetitive by times, but even it's clever remix and layering of the "be-bop" section, especially for the final 30 seconds, gives it a sort of driving feel that finds a Bond 'tone'.

I have nothing against this current version. It's just been overused. The Brosnan era had two distinct remixes, Craig is due for a second.

We need something simple that's not trying to blow your speakers off so much as it says, "hang on for the ride..."

I may need to track down the Parodi Fair version, I had it on a CD but wonder if I've copied it to iTunes.

And why is James Bond dressed as someone's granddad? He looks like he's about to offer the baddies a Werther's Original.

Was wondering that myself. Why is he wearing a sweater similar to that worn by Connery in NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN?

My best guess is that it's supposed to be a throwback to this outfit.

Certainly looks that way.

Anyway, the game keeps looking better and better. Can't wait for the release.

It's really not that bad of an outfit. Better than having him run around in a stereotypical suit.

Not really: that would just be boring. Here he looks unstylish, which is much worse. He appears to be rocking a pair of chinos.

You know the film-Bond appetite is at a peak when we start dissecting video-game-Bond's wardrobe.

Eh, I don't think it looks that bad really. Pants are certainly the worst offender, although it's more because of the lightness of them. Just doesn't seem to mesh well with that sweater.

I wouldn't say that Bond looks unstylish - in fact, you see a lot of trendy people with similar outfits.

Wow. I've been so busy gushing over how brilliant GoldenEye is shaping up that I kinda stopped watching this one after the decidedly 'meh' trailers. But the improvement over the first demo footage is simply staggering. It looks lovely, the character models are looking a lot less creepy and it's shaping up to the first Bond game to actually be third person for a reason beyond avoiding comparison to GoldenEye. Also, it has an actualy gameplay system and telented developers behind it, so looking good.

Only remianing concerns- it does look very generic. I'd be a shame if it turned out to be licensed Spliter Cell knock-off no. 5800000000000.
Brice Fierstien has yet to write a decent Bond story solo. The generic 'stolen weapons' plot and the Brosnan-era look of the whole thing make me wonder if the game will reflect how different the Craig era is, beyond some harder fight scenes.

So, both games looking very promising. Activison are good developers and QOS could have been great if it wasn't such a rush job, and they did a pretty good job with what they made, so with the added time and oomph, could we finally be up for another decent Bond game after fourteen years? And TWO at once? Things are looking good. If if third person Bond STILL doesn't take we still have GoldenEye.

Cautiosly optimistic.

If anyone's interested and hasn't seen it already, here is the opening cutscene followed by a much higher quality (sound and vid) version of the gameplay demo already shown. Just fast forward past the guy presenting it.

A number of interesting musings...

The HUD shows Bond is using the 'Silence P99', but the icon is the PPK.

In the car park a window pops up showing 'focus kills 33/40', meaning that either the game has a Trophy/ Achievement counter or it's own kind of reward system, like Uncharted.

The focus kills on the boat are accompanied by a nice GoldenEye-style red crosshair.

You press a shoulder button to reload, again, like Uncharted.

You can edge around corners while in cover by holding A, like Uncha- you know. The version shown is obviously the 360 one.

You shoot down the helicopter by shooting the explosive tanks it's stupidly floating next to. Decidedly rubbish.

No one is babbling in Bond's ear the whole time. Decidedly good.

I think this is the trophy/acc counter, Blur had a similar system, as I believe did PGR3 and 4.

It's ok! I have to say I'm not that impressed with their work, cause it looks a lot like QoS. I hope I'm wrong and the controls are much better.

It looks miles better than QoS, IMO. It looks like they've used Uncharted as their template rather than Call of Duty, and Uncharted is a lot closer to what a Bond game should be than Call of Duty.

This game looks nothing like QoS. However, I'm still dissapointed with the lack of suits. This game looks ridiculously incredible, so crisp and you can tell that the craetors havn't compromised on the graphics, overall production and I'm assuming the script/story.

As for the music, here's a link of a tribute someguy made, the opening Bond theme sounds similar to the original theme but it's different. It sounds cool and most importantly it's different.
